Squid was recruited by the [[User:GuyThatExists/Tree King|Tree King]] a shortly before [[User:GuyThatExists/Salem Rose|Salem Rose]]'s attack on [[User:GuyThatExists/The Void|The Void]], along with [[User:GuyThatExists/Robot|Robot]]. The three of them are approached by [[User:GuyThatExists/Temte Mapleleaf|Temte Mapleleaf]] who asked to join them, but she was turned down due to her lack of abilities, so the group continues on to the [[User:GuyThatExists/Drawn to Life Village|Drawn to Life Village]].
