hey, kid. you know what this thing is? it's a banner. or maybe an emblem. or a crest. whatever you wanna call it, it's something you draw in shadow palace gates.

it doesn't do anything, really. it just shows up on some banners around shadow city. kinda like a decoration, y'know? but hey, maybe it means something to you. maybe it's a symbol of your determination. or your love of art. or your bad taste in games.

heh heh heh... just kidding. i'm sure you have a good reason for playing this game. maybe you're looking for a challenge. or a friend. or a way to pass the time. well, whatever it is, i hope you find it.

but don't get too attached to this banner, ok? cause one day, without any warning... it's all going to be reset. and then you'll have to draw it all over again. and again. and again...

... nah, i'm messing with ya. i don't know anything about resetting. i'm just a skeleton who likes to make jokes. sometimes bad ones.
