'''Rusty''' is a [[Hero]] adapted by [[User:GuyThatExists|GuyThatExists]] that appears in the [[:Category:Fanfiction|short story]] ''[[Fanon:Blank Slates 3|Blank Slates 3]]'' as a minor character. He is a member of [[Fanon:Cecil's Militia|Cecil's Militia]] briefly leaving when the [[Fanon:Tree King|Tree King]] joins. However, after a discussion with [[Fanon:Pot|Pot]], he fights the Tree King and then joins the final battle against [[Fanon:Tombstone|Tombstone]]. However, he is teleported into canon by [[Fanon:Temte Mapleleaf|Temte Mapleleaf]] when the battle gets too intense.

Mew Pod is a small, yellow tiger-like creature with orange stripes on its back. It resides in a tall, green pitcher plant, which Mew Pod has tied two brown bags to using rope.

Rusty is first seen when [[Fanon:Cecil|Cecil]] introduces [[Fanon:Cecil's Militia|his militia]] to [[Fanon:Repair Guy|Repair Guy]], [[Fanon:Fox|Fox]], and [[Fanon:Pot|Pot]]. He introduced himself by comparing himself to the [[Fanon:Droogle Killer|Droogle Killer]], annoying Repair Guy, Fox, and Pot and prompting them to explain that the war against [[Fanon:Tombstone|Tombstone]] wouldn't be as easy to fight as they think. Some time later, after Tombstone absorbs the [[Fanon:Shadow Village|Shadow Village]] and [[Fanon:Racoomie|Racoomie]] leaves the group, Rusty is excited to fight against Tombstone. The remains of the militia then decide to travel to the [[Fanon:Baki Temple|Baki Temple]] with [[Fanon:Crawler's LARPing Group|Crawler's LARPing Group]].

When they arrive at the Temple, Rusty leads the charge in entering the Temple, leading himself and the rest of the militia into the [[Fanon:Tree King's Den|Tree King's Den]]. When they arrive, they notice the [[Fanon:Tree King|Tree King]]'s statues lining the room, and when the Tree King returned, Rusty and Cecil immediatley began attacking. However, the Tree King quickly overpowers them and demands to know why they broke into the Temple. Rusty tells everyone to not answer him, remembering what the Tree King did during ''[[Fanon:Blank Slates 2|Blank Slates 2]]''. The Tree King, thinking Rusty was the militia's leader, attacks him, causing Rusty to run away riding [[Fanon:Pet|Pet]] out of the Temple.

Once everyone leaves the Temple, Rusty, Pet, and Pot begin walking towards the [[Fanon:Guardians' HQ|Guardians' HQ]]. Pot asks Rusty why he left the militia, and Rusty blames the Tree King joining the militia. Rusty then tells him that what Pot told him in the Plains got to him, and he was locking up all his emotions. Pot, apologizing, tells Pot that instead of locking up his emotions, he needed to embrace them and fight anyway. Just then, the Tree King ignites and starts attacking the HQ, so Rusty and Pet jump into battle to stop him.

After the Tree King's death, Rusty and [[Fanon:Shadokomo|Shadokomo]] talk about Rusty running away and Shadokomo working with the [[Fanon:Five Aldarks|Five Aldarks]] before their death. Shortly after, Tombstone emerges from its bubble over the Two Realms Plains, and Rusty joins the fight against it, helping move the fighters around the battlefield to avoid debris. When Tombstone attempts to absorb [[Fanon:Cecil|Cecil]] and Shadokomo, Rusty and Pet pull them out of Tombstone. However, [[Fanon:Temte Mapleleaf|Temte Mapleleaf]] is forced to evacuate all of the fighters, including Rusty, into canon, and his current whereabouts are unknown.
