When he returns to the village, he asks the [[Hero]] to clear the [[Darkness]] over and re-draw the [[Village Observatory]]. After he moves in, he can be found outside the Observatory. Later on, Galileo is among the group that finds [[Mayor]]'s body outside the [[Forest Gate]], and he asks [[Dr. Cure]] if she could help him. He leaves the scene when [[Mari]] arrives.

Some time later, Galileo is stranded at the [[Village Observatory]] when his [[Vertical Platform|elevator]] disappears. After the [[Vertical Platform]] is created in [[Shadow City (Level)|Shadow City]], he is able to come down. He is not introduced in the story until the [[Eastern Winds]] is unlocked, where he tells the [[Hero]] and [[Jowee]] that they would need [[Wings (Wii)|wings]] to reach the [[Tree of Ages]]. Later, he spots many [[Large Shadow Bat]]s above [[The Drifting Isles]] and tasks the Hero with defeating them.
