Editing Volcanic Core

 

If [[Rocko]] is talked to at any point in the game, he can change the flow of the magma in the [[Magma Flow Factory]]. This changes the level's in-stage name to Volcanic Core upon entering it, along with this version of the level gaining an additional [[BakiBeard Coin]] for the player to collect. However, upon doing so, the player is unable to fight the Giant Robosa in this stage despite these two levels sharing the same name.

After [[Key]] forges the new key from the key mold, the hero uses it to flip the switch that controls the Robosa. Once all of the rampaging Robosa shut down, [[Miney]] bumps into [[Salem]] (who was, of course, really [[Wilfre|Wilfre in]] disguise). Salem then states that Miney's idiocy has ruined their plan, and then goes off into the level to "clean up Miney's mess". Afterwards, the ground shakes and it's revealed that the Giant Robosa outside the control of the switch was on the loose in the factory. [[Hero|The Hero]] is then sent into the level to stop the Giant Robosa.

Once the Giant Robosa is defeated, Miney apologizes by saying he did what he thought was best for the village, and that the [[Banya Crystals]] were the key to Lavasteam's prosperity. [[Moe]] reassures him by stating that they have all gotten carried away, and Key confirms Moe's statement. The Hero and the rest of the gang are welcome back to Lavasteam at any time.
