The '''App Store''' is a mobile storefront created and maintained for the iOS line of mobile operating systems and Macintosh line of computers, all developed by Apple. The store opened on July 10th, 2008 with 500 applications available, and became an instant success, making flip-phone and JAVA game stores (the previous format of mobile gaming) essentially obsolete. The store expanded to multiple options over time, with multiple individual mini storefronts being included with the base store currently. It is currently the second-largest mobile game storefront behind [[Google Play]]; however, despite the lower range of apps and device compatibility, the quality control is regarded to be an improvement over the latter's. The App Store housed two [[Drawn to Life Series|Drawn to Life]] games, a port of the original [[Drawn to Life]] developed by [[WayForward]], and the most recent entry [[Drawn to Life: Two Realms]]. The series' development teams [[5th Cell]] and [[Digital Continue]] have released other titles on the platform.
