 When the Tree King is recruiting for his group, Temte teleports in front of him and asks to join his team. However, he rejects her because she doesn't have many useful abilities. This makes Temte upset, and she returns home to Alme, who convinces her to go on an adventure to the edge of The Void. During their trip, they watched as the whiteness of The Void slowly faded out, revealing a shimmering, dark sky.

She refuses, but Mayo eventually gets louder, drowning out her own thoughts. She crushes the glasses watches as the landscapes and villages in the void disappear.
