What follows is an incomplete transcript of Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter, including scene transitions and extra dialog from non-important characters. During the game, the player is sometimes presented with opportunities to respond to the game's characters by selecting predetermined dialog options. These moments will be shown in this transcript through tabbers.

“Optional Dialogue” refers to dialogue that can be accessed through interacting with Raposa while the Hero is able to freely move about the many villages. Also, some quotes may be duplicated in certain sections of the game. In this case, the duplicated entries will not be shown in this transcript.

The player character, the Hero, will simply be referred to as "Hero" within this transcript. Certain character's identities may not be revealed at certain points during the game. At these points, the transcript will read "???", with the character's true identity being hidden in alt text. Hover over the text to see the character's true identity. A character who's identity is never revealed will simply be labeled as "????".

(Screen un-fades, and the opening cinematic starts to play with the opening credits. Heather is seen running to a picnic with Mari and Jowee, but she is given a colorless carrot as food. She looks back up at her friends as Mari grows angry, and Jowee turns into Wilfre. Wilfre covers the picnic in shadow, draining its color, so Heather runs away. The shadow catches up to Heather as she trips and screams. Heather suddenly wakes up, notices that Jowee is still asleep, and she makes herself a glass of water, but is scared by a Dodo's call. She peeks out the front door to see the Dodo flying off, and she looks at her glowing pendant. She then leaves Jowee's House to go on a walk in the moonlight.)

Prologue

(At the Secret Beach, Heather finds Wilfre's Scepter. The screen fades to black as Wilfre laughs)

(In Jowee's House)

Mari: Jowee!! Wake up!
Mari: Jowee!!
Jowee: Guh... humm... Mari?
Mari: Jowee, have you seen Heather?
Jowee: She's not in her bed?
Mari: Hurry, we need to go look for her!

(Outside Jowee's House)

Mari: Heather?! Where are you?!
Farmer Brown: Mayor Mari! The most terrible thing just happened! My crops, they've started to...
Mari: Farmer Brown, I am so sorry, I really need to...
Pirate Beard: What's happening? I've just come back from the ship and I...
Dr. Cure: The hospital! Please, mayor. You must come quick!
Mari: Calm down everyone. I'm happy to sort out any problem you may have, but right now I really need to...
Cookie: Ze most dreadful thing has happened in ze kitchen, Miss Mari! Come to ze kitchen. Please!!
Isaac: Miss Mari, I've been looking all over for you. You must come back to my shop at once!
Mari: Everyone, please stop it! We have an emergency!
Mari: I don't mean to alarm anyone, but Heather is missing. Has anybody seen her toady?
Mari: Come on Jowee. We need to get to the Creation Hall. It's time to call upon the power of the Creator!

(Inside Creation Hall)

Jowee: Hey! Where is the Book of Life?
Mari: I always keep it close.
Mari: Please Creator, if you can hear us. We are in trouble!
Mari: Please send us a hero!

[The player then draws the Hero, but the drawing screen falls apart after the first stroke.]

(Inside Creation Hall, color draining from the mannequin.)

Jowee: What is going on?!
Jowee: Mari, we need to get out of here!
Mari: The hero...

(Outside Creation Hall, the color begins to drain from more objects)

Mari: Wait, please don't panic!

(Suddenly, Wilfre appears from a portal)

Wilfre: There will be no hero to save you this time!
Mari: Wilfre... ? But... how?
Wilfre: The Creator can't get rid of me that easily... not while this world still exits!
Mari: Don't you regret everything you did? You are a Raposa...
Wilfre: You pathetic thing... You have no clue, do you? Don't you realize what I've been doing this whole time?
Jowee: You tried to destroy everything we love! You are a monster!
Wilfre: A monster? My will shall happen and you will thank me for it. I am this world's savior!
Mari: How can you say that?! After what you did to my father!
Wilfre: All in good time... Now scamper along, I have work to do.

(The screen fades to white)

Creator: Wilfre, no more.
Wilfre: What...? You speak? How... is that possible?
Creator: You will not have him. He will fight you.
Creator: He will win, he is not yours to control.
Wilfre: So you really are the Creator... You don't care about us! Only him...
Wilfre: It doesn't matter anyway, I know your limits.
Creator: You know nothing.
Wilfre: I know that this scepter gives me the power to defeat any of your pathetic heroes! Behold its power!!

(The screen fades back to Rapoville, and Wilfre kidnaps several villagers in portals)

Wilfre: Well, it's been fun, but I have more work to do.

(Wilfre escapes in a portal, and Heather appears from his shadow)

Jowee: Heather!!!
Heather: Kemi-Kawa, you must stop Wilfre! Kemi-Kawa!!

(Heather disappears through the portal, dropping her pendant)

Jowee: Heather's pendant!
Pirate Beard: Yaarrr trade wind be blowin' in! Most of the crew be gone!
Jowee: I can't believe we're all that's left... What should we do Mari?

(More objects begin to lose their color)

Isaac: It's happening again! Let's get out of here!
Pirate Beard: Quick! Everyone get to me ship!

(At the Docks)

Pirate Beard: Yar! Someone pirated my ship!
Pirate Beard: Curse the land-lubber to do such a deed! Yar!
Jowee: Mari, what should we do? We're losing color fast!
Mari: Creator... How are we going to find Heather without a ship? Or a hero? Please help us!

(Turtle Rock then appears at the Docks)

Pirate Beard: Yar legendary beastie!
Cindi: Dawdy... monster!
Isaac: The Creator sent it, so it's safe...
Isaac: ...right?

(The color drains from the ground and Crazy Barks jumps on Turtle Rock)

Jowee: Yeah it's just like the Creation Hall in our village.

Mari: Some mayor I turned out to be...

Jowee: It's Wilfre. He did all this!

Jowee: Mari, I...
Mari: Look Jowee! There is a mannequin over there!
Jowee: Yeah, but it looks like some sort of strange mannequin... Look at all those arms and legs!
Jowee: We need to find Heather and the rest of the Raposa. The Creator can use this mannequin to create another hero!
Mari: You're right! If we are going to save the village and the Raposa we need a hero!
Mari: Please Creator... We need you more than ever. We need the hero's help once again.

[The player then draws the Hero.]

"Hero"'s Health: If "Hero" is hurt, the old mannequin parts will begin to show. Pick up this health item to repair damage done to "Hero"'s body.

Coin Clown: Whether relieving stress or trying to get rich quick, the Coin Clown showers "Hero" with coins after each hit.

Action Draw Altar: "Hero" can receive help from the Creator by using the Action Draw Altar. To activate, stand on the altar and press the A button. Once activated, you can draw platforms to help "Hero" reach new areas.

Weapon: Press and hold L button to bring up weapon menu to change weapon. Use the +Control Pad to select a weapon. Press Y button to attack!

Mari: When I saw that ship sailing off, I thought I had lost the one thing I couldn't live without...
Jowee: I couldn't go without you...
Mari: Well, we're finally on our own adventure!
Jowee: I know!

Jowee: We have "Hero"...and I'm sure the Creator will help us.

NavyJ: ...Is that so? I assume you've heard of the amazing NavyJ, world class Raposa superstar?
Madeleine: Nowpe!
Madeleine: Well, I'm going to Mayor Rose's big concert at the opera house!!

NavyJ: Rose eh... Mayor I can give her a few musical pointers...

Pirate Beard: "Hero"! We've been scouring the ship lookin' for ya! We've reached port!
Pirate Beard: You should follow Mari and Jowee onto the island.

Jowee: Whoa! It's another village!
Mari: But color is missing from this village as well...
Mari: "Hero", go talk to the villagers and find out what's going on.

Veronique: I was just about to take a nice long soak in the lagoon, until the color got sucked out of it!

Madeleine: There have been many new visitors here recently. One had silly hair!
Mari: Did you say "silly hair?"
Mari: She must be talking about NavyJ!
Madeleine: I don't know where they went, but then the color started going away.
Jowee: Just like our village...
Madeleine: Your home lost color too?!
Mari: Where is the mayor of this town?
Madeleine: She is in the city, but since the color is gone, you can't get there now.

(Madeleine gets the color jar)

Madeleine: I found this on my beach...before the color went away.
Madeleine: I dug around but didn't find any more...
Jowee: Fascinating... This looks like pure color.
Mari: I have an idea! "Hero", do you think we could use this to restore color?
Madeleine: Really? Here! You can have it if you color in our village.

(Mari gives the color jar to the hero)

Color Drops: You receive 25 color drops.
Mari: "Hero", try restoring this boathouse.
Restore Color: Walk up to an uncolored building or object and tap it. Then color in the region!

Gabriel: Even if I could set up an audience with her, there is no way to safely guide the gondola through the narrow waterways of the city without guidance from the lighthouse.
Jowee: Lighthouse? I don't even see one.
Gabriel: precisely my young friend. When the color faded, the lighthouse faded with it.
Jowee: I know! Let's ask the Creator to draw a new lighthouse!
Gabriel: You can do that?
Jowee: Oh yeah, me and the Creator--we're just like that.
Mari: Please Creator... Draw us a lighthouse so we may get to the city.
Lighthouse: The lighthouse is not only used to help guide the gondolas in Watersong, but it also serves as a symbol of how the Creator guides the Raposa.

(Some time in the past, on the stage, Rose is singing to a crowd. After her performance the crowd applauds.)

(The S.P.U.D. takes Unagi away. Zsasha and Cricket run back on screen and are stopped by another S.P.U.D..)

(The S.P.U.D. takes Zsasha away. Cricket begins to eat a donut. A third S.P.U.D. appears.)

Jowee: What happened to you... ?
Mari: Please Jowee, just go home... I don't want to hurt you...

(Mike walks into Jowee's Room.)

Isaac: How are we supposed to continue without the Book?!

(Click attempts to enter his code.)

(At the elevator.)

Click: Ah, um, yes. That certainly is the part I need...
Click: Pardon me a moment while I repair the elevator.

(Click repairs the elevator using the blaster.)

Click: Well, the elevator is repaired... There seems to be no reason why we can't take you to the Council...

(The group gathers closer to the elevator.)

Click: Oh dear... I seem to have forgotten my security badge to get into the fortress.
Click: Wait right here... I'll go and fetch it...

(Click runs off.)

Jowee: ...Unbelievable! What's going on around here?

(A S.P.U.D. appears in front of Jowee.)

Jowee: Um... Can we help you?
S.P.U.D.: Ranger Knox here of the Space Police... ummm... S.P.U.D...
S.P.U.D.: Perhaps you can help. My comrade left at 0900 hours to scout out the jungle but has not come back.
S.P.U.D.: Of course I would go look for him, but we barely have enough rangers as it is to uphold USF law.
Jowee: ...So what you're saying is you want to send "Hero" into the jungle to find him?

S.P.U.D.: Come along Ranger... Marxx. There are laws to be enforced!

(Ranger Knox and Ranger Marxx run off.)

Jowee: Click should be back by now. I'm going to go look for him.

(Jowee walks off.)

Sock: Hey, wait for me!

(Sock chases after Jowee.)

Starlight Starfight

(Outside Starlight Starfight.)

Kamalah: Aaachooo!

(A S.P.U.D. appears and takes Kamalah away.)

Jowee: This is insane! These laws just keep getting more and more ridiculous!
Jowee: Come on "Hero". Time is running out. Elevator or no elevator, we have to get into that Space Fortress!
Sock: But without an elevator how are we supposed to get up there?

(Jowee walks around, thinking.)

Jowee: That's it! A launch pad!
Jowee: Perhaps we can ask the Creator to draw us a spaceship!
Jowee: Talk to me when you're ready, "Hero".

[Optional Dialogue]

Akamu: That was close... I almost got sick. Thank you, S.P.U.D.

Hoaka: Where did they take mom?

Iolani: We must be very careful not to let any of the jungle pollens in through our protective helmets.

Jowee: Come on, we can't do anything if we don't color the launch pad.

Kaihe: I feel much safer now that that lawbreaker is gone...
Kaihe: I just hope I don't accidentally break any laws myself.

Moani: Waahhh... My face itches...

Sock: This is kind of crazy... Is it really gonna work?


(A prompt appears when the player restores Starlight Starfight.)

(At Starlight Starfight.)

Jowee: Now all we need is a rocket!
Jowee: Creator, please draw us a rocket to take us up to the tower.
"Hero"'s Spaceship: "Hero" can ride in style in this space-age spaceship. Great for reaching the top of really tall towers or fighting off an alien armada.

[The player then draws the Shooter Ship.]

Jowee: Hmm, you can't go out there unarmed though...
Jowee: Why don't you draw some bullets?
Spaceshot: What's better than a spaceship? A spaceship that shoots spaceshots! With the spaceshot, "Hero"'s Spaceship changes from free flyer to freedom fighter!

[The player then draws the Space Shot.]

Jowee: Hmmm, you're still missing something...
Jowee: I know! Bombs! Creator, could you draw "Hero" some bombs, please?
Spacebomb: There's no better way to suppress ground fire than by dropping the spacebomb from "Hero"'s Spaceship.

[The player then draws the Space Bomb.]

Jowee: Looks a little... cozy...
Sock: Do you think we'll all fit?
Jowee: There's only one way to find out.

(Jowee, Sock, and "Hero" board the spaceship.)

Jowee: Ouch, Sock! You're on my foot!
Sock: No you're on my foot!
Sock: Can I drive?
Jowee: You're too short! "Hero", get us up that tower!

During Level

Sock: Oh no! What's all that stuff below us!
Jowee: Looks like the tower has some defenses!
Jowee: "Hero" we need you to destroy all the Baki Turrets so we can gain safe passage to the top of the tower!
Objective: Destroy all the Baki Turrets!
Spaceshot: Use the Y button to fire!
Spacebomb: Use the B button to launch bombs!

Post-Level

(At the Space Fortress.)

Jowee: This place just keeps getting weirder and weirder.
Jowee: Well, it doesn't look like we're going to be able to get very far without more color.
Jowee: Creator, would you please restore color to the ground?

[The player then restores Galactic Jungle's ground.]

Jowee: Let's see if we can't find this Council thing.

(Click walks out from Scramble Tower.)

Sock: Click!!

(Click tries to run away.)

Jowee: Stop!
Jowee: So, apparently the elevators are working again?
Click: No... I mean, yes, obviously. I tried to find you but you were nowhere to be found.
Jowee: Uh-huh... Well we are here and we need to see the Council.
Click: Naturally I would take you, but to reach the Council room we would need to access the space elevator. However...
Jowee: Let me guess... The elevator is broken.
Click: Don't be silly. OF course it's not broken.
Jowee: But...?
Click: We need three generators to power them first. And...
Jowee: Don't tell me... They've gone missing...
Click: Not missing so much as merely difficult to access. But we know they're inside these 3 buildings.
Click: Once we have the generators I can take you to meet the Council. Simple as that.
Jowee: Simple...? Nothing about this place is simple...
Click: Of course I think I have form 22Q-3, which in conjunction with an Occupational Release and affidavit...
Jowee: No, no, no...
Jowee: No more forms. No more signatures.
Jowee: We'll turn those generators on, and then you promise to take us to the Council, right?
Click: Of course! You have my word.
Jowee: ...Right...
Click: The main generator must be turned on before the auxiliary generators can be activated.
Jowee: Main generator? Where's that?
Click: It's located in Power Station Block 4. But good luck getting to it.
