The Bedroom is a multipurpose area exclusive to Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter. It is a building on Turtle Rock that serves as a Main Menu for the player, a temporary home for Jowee, and eventually a resting place for Mike. The player can access certain features such as options, trading, and profile deletion from this menu. The player can also edit and draw on the top screen, similar to Drawn to Life's Main Menu.

TowerIcon.png Appearance[edit]

The Bedroom takes the appearance of a small, square wooden room viewed from an isometric perspective. A large, rectangular rug sits in the center of the room, while various pieces of naval memorabilia are strung across the walls. Two lamps on either side, one on a small wooden cabinet and the other on a barrel, illuminate the room. Inside the room there are objects that the player can interact with to access various menu options:

  • A work-area and bookshelf that serves as the Options Menu.
  • A telescope peering out the window that serves as the Trading Area.
  • A bed - presumably Jowee's - which erases the player's current save file and restarts the game.
  • A pink stuffed bear in the bottom-most corner, which plays a modified version of the game's credits.
  • A set of stairs that leads out of the room, which acts as a continue option that allows the player to access the main story.

Book Icon.png Story[edit]

The Bedroom is first seen in the story after Mari runs away from Turtle Rock. She is seen snooping around for the Book of Life, and Jowee finds her. When she asks for the Book, he gives it to her, only for her to run off with it. The room is next seen after Sock throws Heather's Pendant into the sea, and Jowee is asleep. He has a dream of Mari and Heather being overtaken by Wilfre, and is told to seek out Skraby Zarc. After beating the game, Mike can be found sleeping in the bed in this room, implying that the Raposa world still exists in his dreams.

Trivia[edit]

  • The bear that plays the credits reuses the sprite used for Emi's teddy bear from another 5th Cell game, Lock's Quest.
