–Deputy Snyder
Deputy Snyder is a supporting character featured in Drawn to Life: Two Realms. He is a Belleview resident and the main sheriff for the town. He was one of the parties involved in Mike's crash, and he has lived with survivor's guilt ever since. He is one of the many residents of Belleview to be influenced by Aldark's Shadow.
Appearance[edit]
Deputy Snyder is an adult human with black hair, dark skin and a black horseshoe moustache. His uniform is made up of a brown dress uniform with two pockets, a pair of black dress pants, and a wide-brimmed sheriff's hat with a brown stripe. He also has a golden badge pinned onto his hat.
Story[edit]
Four years before the events of Drawn to Life: Two Realms, Deputy Snyder decided to go visit the carnival in town. Suddenly, Mike's father, Mr. Row, appears driving down the road with his family, so Deputy Snyder and Mr. Row swerve out of the way to avoid colliding. This resulted in Mr. Row's car flipping, resulting in Mike's parent's deaths, putting Mike in a coma, and severely injuring Heather.
By the time Drawn to Life: Two Realms begins, Deputy Snyder had been influenced by Aldark's Shadow, bringing out the worst of his survivor's guilt. He is first mentioned to the Hero after Heather tells them about the accident. Aly says that he failed at protecting the village, and that she'd never forgive him, but after the Hero clears the shadow from her mind, she forgets about the situation. Later on, after Mike escapes to Rapoville and the Hero returns him, Mike decides to confront Deputy Snyder in front of the entire village. Mike blames him for the death of his parents, and Snyder explains how he hasn't felt peace since the accident, not expecting forgiveness from anyone. The Hero enters his mind, clearing Aldark's Shadow, and the two apologize, forgiving each other. Later on, he is seen waving to Mike, Heather, Aly, and Tony.

Trivia[edit]
- According to Joseph Tringali, Deputy Snyder drives a 1970 Buick Electra[1].
- In some files and documentation for Drawn to Life: Two Realms, Deputy Snyder is referred to as "Deputy Hopper".
- The name "Hopper" is likely a reference to the character of the same name in the Netflix series Stranger Things.
- According to the Raposa-Human Connection Sheet used during development, Deputy Snyder is meant to be Cricket's counterpart[2].
- Moustachio'd was added to the game as part of the Creative Pack #2 DLC for Drawn to Life: Two Realms and is one of the few Challenge Battles given to a character with a story level.
- It is possible that Deputy Snyder is the police officer who asked Heather questions while she was in the hospital with Mike. However, this has yet to be confirmed either way.
- However, this is not likely due to his artist, Chow Chern Fai stating that they were only given "a brief description of [his] profession" to work with and did not have any references to that officer[3].
