The Creation Hall is an important building in the Drawn to Life Series, appearing in every Raposa-centric game. Before the events of Drawn to Life, Wilfre stole the Book of Life from Creation Hall and vandalized it. The loss of the book drove the Creator to lock up Creation Hall and abandon the Raposa. After Mari prays to the Creator and they return, Creation Hall is unsealed and a Hero is sent to help the Raposa.
In the two DS Games and the Wii game, Creation Hall can be interacted with to edit the player's creations. In Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter, the player can enter Creation Hall and walk around inside it.
Appearance[edit]
Exterior[edit]
In the original Drawn to Life, it appears as a large, semi-cylindrical building built upon a large tree stump. Its walls are white with blue trimmings at their base, and there is orange roofing at the midsection of the building. At the very top of the building, there is a metal dome with a fan and antenna. There is also a smiling face built upon the side of the hall.
The building appears almost identical in Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter both in Rapoville and Turtle Rock. However, Turtle Rock's Creation Hall has a wooden pillar protruding from the top of the building, with a large blades attached to it. There are three stings of pennants tied to Creation Hall at various points, connecting the building to Isaac's Shop, the Map Room, and the Forgotten Library. In Drawn to Life: Two Realms, Creation Hall appears exactly as it does in Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter.
In the non-canon Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter (Wii), Creation Hall appears much larger and much rounder than it has before. It is still built upon a tree stump, but there are now logs embedded into the ground acting as stairs into the building. The walls of the building are still white, but now have orange trimmings. The orange roofing still bisects the building, but instead of a second white wall, the top of the building is giant, green, and spherical. The fans and antenna are much more exaggerated, and what appears to be a chimney protrudes from the top as well.
Interior[edit]
The inside of Creation Hall changes in every game, although they all share two main components - the Hero's mannequin and many bookshelves. In the original Drawn to Life, the interior is octagonal with very short diagonal sides. The mannequin is in the top-right corner of the room, and there are seven bookshelves. On the floor are a treasure chest, an open box, and a cracked pot. There is also a map of a snowy location on the northern wall and a table in the bottom-right corner of the room.
In Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter, Rapoville's Creation Hall looks completely different, being a round room instead of an octagonal one. The mannequin appears in the middle of the room on a table, while the number of bookshelves was reduced to three. The amount of miscellaneous objects has drastically increased, with treasure chests, crates, barrels, and boxes scattered around the room. Turtle Rock's Creation Hall is also a round room, although the mannequin has returned to the top-right corner of the room, and a second floor exists. Every bit of wall space is covered in bookshelves, sans the portion that houses a furnace. A podium for some sort of book is situated in the northern point of the room, and the center of the room is covered by loose planks leading to the Forgotten Library.
In Drawn to Life: Two Realms, the interior of Rapoville's Creation Hall is still rounded and now has two floors, though no mannequin ever appears in the building. Bookshelves now line the interior of this Creation Hall, with a furnace on a section of the wall on the second floor. Ladders, chests, crates, and boxes all also return, making this Creation Hall resemble Turtle Rock's more than previous incarnations of Rapoville's.
Very little of Creation Hall's interior is shown in Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter (Wii), only showing an arch that leads to an elevated easel.
Story[edit]
Before Drawn to Life[edit]
Many years before the events of Drawn to Life, Wilfre ignored both Mayor and the Creator, stealing the Book of Life from Creation Hall and taking it back home. Wilfre defaces the Book and depresses the Creator, who seals Creation Hall. This also sealed the Mayor's Book inside the hall, keeping it away from Mayor.
Drawn to Life[edit]
After the Creator answers Mari's plea, they instruct her to gather all the remaining villagers at Creation Hall. She is only able to bring Jowee, and the two of them witness the Creator unseal the Hall. They walk inside and examine a mannequin, which the Creator imbues with their presence, creating the Hero. The group leaves Creation Hall, and the Hero can return at any point to view and edit their creations. Shortly before fighting Frostwind, Mari, the Hero, and the Mayor all meet inside Creation Hall, with Mari finding the Mayor's Book. After explaining the purpose of the book to her, Mayor tells her that her mayoral training is due to begin.

Creation Hall does not play a major part in Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter (Wii), although it serves the same gameplay purpose as it does in the original game.
Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter[edit]
After Heather goes missing, Mari is swarmed by requests from the villagers, so she and Jowee enter Creation Hall to ask for a new Hero. However, as the Creator begins making a new Hero, Wilfre attacks, draining the Color from the mannequin and all of Creation Hall. After Wilfre kidnaps many of the villagers and drains the rest of the color from Rapoville, the Creator sends Turtle Rock to the group, with a Creation Hall of its own.
Jowee and Mari enter this Creation Hall and are given a new Hero, and Jowee accidentally drops Heather's Pendant through the floorboards, losing it in the Forgotten Library. The group returns to Creation Hall sparingly, only returning when Mari goes missing. After Samuel is rescued from Symphonic Falls, he will reside inside Turtle Rock's Creation Hall. After color is restored to the world, Rapoville's Creation Hall is restored.
Drawn to Life: Two Realms[edit]
Four years later, Mari returns to Creation Hall with the Book of Imagination, asking the Creator to provide another Hero to help Mike in Belleview. After being granted a Hero, she asks the Hero to use the Book on her, starting an Imagination Battle. After the battle, the Hero leaves for Belleview, and Creation Hall is not able to be entered again.
Trivia[edit]
- The Creation Hall is the biggest building in Rapoville in every canon game it appears in.
- This is not true in Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter (Wii), where the Raposa Sports Complex is the largest.
- In Drawn to Life, moss starts growing on the building after the snow melts.
- No other villages are seen with a Creation Hall, which may indicate that Rapoville was the first to be created.
- This may also indicate that Rapoville is the closest village to the Creator. However, both of these points are merely speculation.
- It is the only building known in Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter to lose its Color from the inside out.
- However, it is also the only building who's inside we see while it loses color.
- Drawn to Life: Two Realms is the only game where you cannot enter Creation Hall at will.
