What follows is a complete transcript of Drawn to Life, including scene transitions and extra dialog from non-important characters. During the game, the player is sometimes presented with opportunities to respond to the game's characters by selecting predetermined dialog options. These moments will be shown in this transcript through Tabbers.

“Optional Dialogue” refers to dialogue that can be accessed through interacting with Raposa while the Hero is able to freely move about the village. Also, some quotes may be duplicated in certain sections of the game. In this case, the duplicated entries will not be shown in this transcript. [[Generic Raposa Characters]] do not have nameplates in the game, with the exception of [[Cindi]]. [[Mya]]'s text will use her name, despite it only being used once in-game. The other Generic Raposa Characters will be labelled by their affiliation (i.e. Farmer Brown's Son, Tubba's Mother, etc.).

What follows is a complete transcript of Drawn to Life, including scene transitions and extra dialog from non-important characters. During the game, the player is sometimes presented with opportunities to respond to the game's characters by selecting predetermined dialog options. These moments will be shown in this transcript through Tabbers.

“Optional Dialogue” refers to dialogue that can be accessed through interacting with Raposa while the Hero is able to freely move about the village. Also, some quotes may be duplicated in certain sections of the game. In this case, the duplicated entries will not be shown in this transcript. Generic Raposa Characters do not have nameplates in the game, with the exception of Cindi. Mya's text will use her name, despite it only being used once in-game. The other Generic Raposa Characters will be labelled by their affiliation (i.e. Farmer Brown's Son, Tubba's Mother, etc.).

The player character, the Hero, will simply be referred to as "Hero" within this transcript. All grammatical/spelling errors within the game's script will be kept, as originally written, in this transcript. Certain character's identities may not be revealed at certain points during the game. At these points, the transcript will read "????", with the character's true identity being hidden in alt text. Hover over the text to see the character's true identity. A character who's identity is never revealed will simply be labeled as "???".

Introduction

Village: There are many stories to be told, but this one is special. This is our story.

The Book: Long before we Raposa existed, there was the Book of Life, the design of the Creator...

Creation: The Creator drew everything in this book and brought it into existence.

Planet: First the Creator formed a circle and drew our world.

Forest: Then, the Creator populated the world with our beautiful forests.

Raposa: Even we Raposa were drawn to life by the Creator's hand.

Mari: Now almost everyone has left the village...

Creator: I have heard your cry and will provide a Hero
Creator: to help restore the village.
Creator: But first, you must gather the villagers

(Mari leaves her house.)

Creator: I will not help you.

Isaac: Losing the Eternal Flame was the last straw. Now my shop is covered in Darkness!

Mari: You better not hurt my dad!!

????: No one told you a creepy bedtime story about me? Pity...
????: If you insignificant rapos must know my name, it's Wilfre.
Wilfre: You can forget about rebuilding this village.
Wilfre: I've torn up all the pages in the Book of Life...
Wilfre: They should be scattered around the world by now!
Wilfre: Anyway, I bid you farewell. I have much to attend to.
Wilfre: To be sure you don't attempt a pathetic rescue, I'll cover this bridge in Darkness.

(Wilfre leaves and covers the bridge in Darkness.)

Jowee: Oooh! That Wilfre!
Mari: ...What do we do now?
Jowee: We should go find your dad... He'll know what to do.
Jowee: The Village Entrance is blocked by Darkness...
Jowee: We could use the village Snow Gate to get there...
Mari: "Hero", meet us at the Snow Gate, ok?
Jowee: Yeah, it's northwest of here. Just follow the path until it ends!

(Jowee, Mari, and Cindi run to the Snow Gate.)

Mari: Hi "Hero"... This is the village Snow Gate...
Mari: We should probably stay behind... The Snow Fields can be dangerous!
Mari: Please save my dad... He shouldn't be that far away...
Jowee: Just walk up to the gate and push it open!

Mari: "Hero", Cindi ran into the Snow Fields! You need to bring her back!
Mayor: "Hero", I found something in the Snow Fields that might help you...
Mayor: It's a Snowshooter page for the Book of Life...
Mayor: The Creator can draw it for you!

Mari: Well... you should know better than to run off by yourself!
Mayor: Isaac! I'm so glad you made it back...
Isaac: It's all thanks to "Hero".
Isaac: I didn't get very far before I ran into Wilfre...
Mayor: I can't believe Wilfre is still alive... after what he did to the Book of Life...
Jowee: What's the deal with that guy anyway...
Jowee: We ran into him on the bridge, and he seemed to have control over the Darkness...
Mayor: Wilfre... He's the cause of this mess!

(The screen fades to black.)

Mayor: Oh... It was many years ago...

(The screen fades in to show Isaac, a Generic Man, and a Generic Boy outside Village Hall.)

Mayor: Several years before you were born, in fact...

(The camera pans to show a non-Shadow Wilfre in front of the Eternal Flame.)

Mayor: Wilfre was a respected member of this village.

(Listening to Wilfre are Farmer Brown, Cookie, Tubba, Cricket, a Generic Elder Woman, a Generic Elder Man, and a Generic Woman.)

Mayor: Always the center of attention...

(The camera fades to Wilfre walking up to Creation Hall. A Generic Elder Man and a Generic Woman walk past.)

Mayor: Wilfre questioned why it was forbidden...
Mayor: ...to design our own creations.

(Wilfre turns back and walks away from Creation Hall.)

Mayor: ...in the Book of Life.

(The camera fades to Mayor standing outside Village Hall. Wilfre approaches him.)

Mayor: He told me it could be done better...
Mayor: What a fool I was...

(Wilfre walks away from Village Hall.)

Mayor: for underestimating what he was capable of...

(The camera fades to Wilfre walking into Creation Hall at night.)

Mayor: Wilfre snuck into Creation Hall...
Mayor: and stole the Book of Life.

(Wilfre walks out of Creation Hall. The camera fades into Wilfre's House, with Shadow bubbling on his floor.)

Mayor: He took the Book back to his house.
Mayor: and drew inside the pages...

(Shadow Walkers appear from the puddles of Shadow.)

Mayor: but the creations came out twisted and black.

(Mayor walks into Wilfre's House.)

Mayor: It wasn't long before I discovered his scheme...

(Wilfre walks over to Mayor and Mayor leaves his house. The camera fades to outside Wilfre's House, where Mayor, Cricket, and Cricket's Deputy are waiting for him.)

Mayor: We confronted him...

(Wilfre exits his house and runs to the Village Entrance. Mayor, Cricket, and his Deputy chase after him. The screen fades to Wilfre at the Village Entrance.)

Mayor: and in a furious rage...

(Wilfre walks to the edge of the bridge and rips the pages out of the Book of Life.)

Mayor: he tore the pages from the Book of Life.

(Mayor, Cricket, and his Deputy arrive at the bridge, surrounding Wilfre.)

Mayor: Tossing them into the wind...
Mayor: We surrounded him and grabbed the Book

(Wilfre runs out of the village.)

Mayor: but Wilfre escaped, and fled the village

(The camera fades to Mayor standing outside Creation Hall.)

Mayor: The Creator grieved over the loss...

(A Generic Girl, a Generic Woman, and a Generic Elder Man walk up behind Mayor.)

Mayor: and sealed Creation Hall...

(A door appears over Creation Hall's entrance.)

Mayor: and we were left to fend for ourselves.

(The Generic adult Raposa walk away and the Generic Girl walks next to Mayor. The camera fades to Mayor walking into Village Hall.)

Mayor: I locked what remained of the Book away...
Mayor: The moon and stars faded away...
Mayor: and finally the Eternal Flame...

(The Eternal Flame dies out.)

Mayor: flickered and died out...

(The camera fades to outside Jowee's House. Rapoville is covered in snow and the Darkness has begun to creep in.)

Mayor: A creeping Shadow grew at the edge of our town.
Mayor: and everyone left, in search of a new home.

(A Generic Man and a Generic Woman walk out of Jowee's House. A Generic Girl follows closely behind them.)

Mayor: All because of Wilfre...

(The screen fades to black.)

(The screen fades in to show Mayor, Mari, Jowee, Isaac, and "Hero" walking up to the Eternal Flame.)

Mayor: Now I see... The lost pages...
Mayor: In order to restore our village we need to collect those pages!
Isaac: I better get going... My shop is covered in Darkness...
Isaac: "Hero", you should visit after the Eternal Flame returns.

(Isaac walks to his shop.)

Mayor: The Creator has given us a Hero.
Mayor: And you... my dear Mari... have given us all hope.
Jowee: Uh... We might have a small problem...
Jowee: The pedestal for the Eternal Flame... It vanished.

(The camera pans to an uncolored Village Pedestal.)

Mayor: There should be a place for the Eternal Flame page in the Book of Life.

(Mayor walks into Village Hall and returns with the Book of Life, placing a page inside of it.)

Mayor: Whew... It's back in... Now it's up to the Creator!
Mari: Creator, we need somewhere to keep the Eternal Flame!
Mari: Could you help us color in the Village Pedestal?
New Task!: Color in the Village Pedestal.

[The player then draws the Village Pedestal.]

Mayor: The Village Pedestal looks amazing! Great job!
Mayor: Creator, would you like to choose the color of the flame?

[The player then selects the color of the Eternal Flame.]

(The screen fades to black, showing only the flame. When the village fades back in, Mayor, Mari, Cindi, Mya, Isaac, Jowee, and "Hero" are standing around the flame.)

Mayor: The Eternal Flame is back!
Isaac: Now the Creator can clear the darkness from around my shop!!
Mayor: "Hero", thanks again for all you're help...
Mayor: Come see me again after the darkness is cleared from Isaac's shop!

(All the villagers walk away. The screen fades to black.)

(The screen fades back in.)

Info!: The Eternal Flame has the ability to remove the darkness from the village!

(A beam of light is emitted by the flame. The darkness over Isaac's Shop lightens.)

Isaac: Ah, you're finally here!
Isaac: The clouds over my shop have turned gray...
Isaac: They haven't disappeared yet though... Maybe the Creator can clean them up for good?
Tip!: Use the stylus to tap on the gray clouds.

Jowee: Hey there! Isaac was looking for you...
Jowee: You should visit his shop... Follow the path and go southeast!

Mari: I've lived in this village for my entire life...
Mari: One day it would be neat to see the world!
Mari: Isaac's shop is just south of here... You'll need to go around the clouds...

Mayor: I'm sorry for what I said about you earlier... I knew you'd come through for us!
Mayor: I'm still figuring out what we should do next... Maybe you should go speak with Isaac...

Mya: My little rapo should eat more then just cupcakes...
Mya: A balanced diet of Banya, Kori Fruit and fish will help her grow into a strong young rapo.


[The player then clears the clouds from Isaac's Shop.]

(Outside Isaac's Shop. Isaac inspects the building as "Hero" and Mari look on.)

Isaac: The Creator did it! The darkness is gone!
Isaac: The shop is quite a mess... I need some time to clean up...
Isaac: Be sure to visit soon... I'm sure you'll find something worth your Rapo Tokens...

(Isaac walks inside. The camera pans to Mari by the Wishing Well.)

Mari: Hi, "Hero"! Could you come over here?

[Optional Dialogue]

Jowee: Sooo... "Hero"... What do you think of Mari? She's a cool rapo, eh?
(The game pauses.)
Jowee: Forget I said anything...

Mayor: I think Mari wanted to speak with you about something...


(At the Wishing Well.)

Mari: This is the village Wishing Well!
Mari: Jowee and I used to throw rocks in it when we were lil' rapos!
Mari: Nothing happened... But once, Jowee dropped a Rapo Coin in there...
Mari: and five Rapo Coins popped out!
Mari: My dad yelled at us for playing here...
Mari: But I don't think he would mind if you used it!

(At Village Hall)

Mayor: So Isaac's Shop is free of the darkness? I guess he's here to stay now!

Mayor: Excellent work... I've been doing some thinking...
Mayor: We had such a vibrant village before the Sun disappeared...
Mayor: If the Creator could design a new Sun, then perhaps more villagers would return!
Mayor: Hrmm... Through the village Snow Gate, and into the Snow Caves you go!

[Optional Dialogue]

Mayor: Return to the Snow Gate, and enter the Snow Caves. The pages should be nearby.


(At the Snow Gate. The gate opens and Jowee approaches "Hero".)

Jowee: Hey... "Hero"... Uh... I had a question for you...
Jowee: Maybe... I could come with you on your next adventure?
Jowee: Ya know... like a sidekick?

("Hero" walks into the Snow Gate.)

Jowee: I guess "Hero" needs some time to think about it...
Jowee: I have to convince "Hero" to take me along!
