Trivia
- The word "Anchorpus" is most likely a portmanteau of "Anchor" and "Octopus", alluding to the fact that it is an octopus-like creature that uses an anchor as a weapon.
- This enemy is known solely as "Octopus" within Drawn to Life's code.
- This enemy was known as "Octo-Anchor" in early documents about Drawn to Life.
- These enemies exhale Shadow in their "Idle" animations.
- This may be a reference to their early design, where Shadow covers their face.
- Because of their health, there is almost always a pile of starfish near an Anchorpus.
