Drawn to Life: Two Realms Transcript

What follows is a complete transcript of Drawn to Life: Two Realms, including scene transitions and extra Dialogue from non-important characters.

“Optional Dialogue” refers to dialogue that can be accessed through interacting with Raposa or Humans while the Hero is able to freely move about Rapoville or Belleview. Also, some quotes may be duplicated in certain sections of the game, and characters who have Imagination Battles at certain points will have their portion removed after the battle is recorded as they may not have mid- or late-game dialogue.

The player character, Hero, will be referred to as "Hero" within this transcript.

"????" refers to characters whose names are unknown while speaking. Their names will be available by hovering over the question marks, though these do contain spoilers.

Depending on the platform the player is using, some Instructional Prompts may be slightly different. In these cases, dialogue corresponding to these platforms will be color coded: Blue for PC, red for Switch, and green for mobile.

Introduction

(The introduction begins with a map of the Raposa Realm’s world, before fading to Mari at the Secret Beach speaking with the Creator)

Mari: Hey Creator... I never wanted to be Mayor.

[Cue Flashback to previous Drawn to Life games]

Mari: My dad was the best there ever was and I knew I couldn't live up.

Mari: But the darkness came... I cried out to you for help, and you gave us a Hero.

Mari: The darkness stole my dad, but our Village stood strong.

Mari: But then the color faded, and we fled... travelling the world, restoring each island.

Mari: This time the darkness claimed noble intentions, and we prepared for the end of our world...

Mari: But the end I thought was coming... Ended up as a new beginning.

[End Flashback]

Mari: I know what I need to do. But I fear it's too late.

(The camera pans downwards towards the shadow of a mysterious Raposa)

Mari: For Mike... And our world.

Secret Beach

[The mystery Raposa approaches Mari]

????: I found what you were looking for.

[Mari walks closer to the water, clearly worried]

Mari: Do you think we still have time?

????: It's hard to know.

????: The human realm is different... Night is day, day is night...

????: They have small ears as well.

Mari: How do you know?

Mari: Raposa can't go there...

????: Well...

Mari: Ah... I understand.

Mari: I guess I'll go see the Creator.

[Mari starts to walk away, only to be stopped]

????: Forgetting something?

[Mari is given the Book of Imagination by the mystery Raposa]

Mari: The Book of Imagination...

Mari: It allows you to enter the mind of another...

Mari: Extract what's wrong, and overcome the challenge.

????: I just hope this "Hero" is up to the challenge.

Mari: They will be...

Mari: I know it.

[Mari leaves for the Creation Hall]

Creation Hall

Mari: Hey... sorry about venting earlier.

Mari: I should have come here sooner.

Mari: We need a Hero!

Mari: I can't help him... at least not from here.

[The scene cuts to the Draw Mode, where the player then draws the Hero. The player saves the Hero before going back to the Creation Hall]

Mari: Hero, you're back!

Mari: Thanks, Creator!

Mari: I'm sure this will work.

[Mari walks up to the Hero to observe them, then looks back at the Creator]

Mari: Uh... It looks a bit strange.

Mari: Nothing like a human.

Creator: Humans are all a bit weird!

Mari: Got it...

Mari: So, I guess they'll see the Hero as one of them.

Mari: Hero! This book will allow you to travel between both realms.

Mari: It also lets you enter the mind of anyone you meet.

Mari: You'll be able to use your imagination to make sense if what's going on.

Mari: Bring order to the chaos!

Mari: The problems of the mind aren't always what you would expect.

Mari: Don't let this book fall into the wrong hand. It can be a dangerous weapon...

Mari: I know you'll protect it and use it responsibly!

[Mari walks to the door before going back to the Hero]

Mari: I'm curious what it feels like...

Mari: Let's try it out!

Intro Text: Practice your new powers on Mari??! Hope she knows what she's doing...

Stage 1

Instructional Prompt: You have entered into Mari's imagination, work your way through stages to help her.

Instructional Prompt: Reach the open gate to progress to the next level.

Instructional Prompt: Use WASD to control your character and SPACE to jump.

Instructional Prompt: Control your character with the virtual stick, and jump by tapping on the right side of the screen.

Instructional Prompt: Use L to control your character and A to jump.

Instructional Prompt: When you're ready to start, press Y.

Instructional Prompt:When you’re ready to start, click/tap PLAY in the top right corner.

Stage 2

Instructional Prompt: To open the next gate, you will need to eliminate all the toys in the stage.

Instructional Prompt: Jump on top of toys to stun them for a few seconds.

Instructional Prompt: Then jump on stunned toys to eliminate them.

Stage 3

Instructional Prompt: Oh no! Looks like Mari needs some help with imagining where some toys should be placed. Let's place them ourselves.

Instructional Prompt: Use Buttons L/R to select the toys, and X to spawn one. Move around the toy with the left stick and place with X.

Instructional Prompt: Drag the toys from the toy bar, and place them in the build grid.

Instructional Prompt: Use the cursor to select a toy, and press and hold A to pick up a toy and move it.

Instructional Prompt: Click/Tap and hold to pick up a toy to move it.

Instructional Prompt: Press A on a selected toy to change the facing direction.

Instructional Prompt: Click/Tap on a toy to change its direction.

Instructional Prompt: To remove all toys, click/tap the X in the lower left next to the tray.

Creation Hall

Mari: Hah! Great job!

Mari: I wonder what type of challenges you'll face in the mind of a human...

Mari: Anyway, I won't waste anymore of your time.

Mari: Go find Mike and convince him to visit us here in Rapoville!

Mari: I have something important to tell him.

Mari: I don't know what situations you'll face in the human realm...

Mari: I wish I could go with you.

Mari: If you ever need any advice, come visit me at the Town Hall. I'll be waiting.

[Mari leaves the Creation Hall, as the Hero activates the portal to Belleview].

Belleview

(An establishing shot presents a portion of the town, giving the player an idea of how it functions. Towards the end of the shot, the Hero jumps through the portal into the Real World. Mike is seen riding a scooter, only to be stopped by Tony and Teo)

Tony: I like the look of that scooter you got.

Tony: Give it here!

Mike: Hey! What's gotten into you?

Tony: ...

Teo: Hey, shut it and give Tony what he wants!

Mike: No way!

[The Hero walks up to the group, intimidating Tony]

Tony: So you brought backup?

Mike: Backup... What? I...

Scooter Thieves Beware

Intro Text: This kid's gonna take Mike's scooter!!? Not on your watch! Toss this Baki nonsense out of here!

Instructional Prompt: If you need a bit more height, try jumping off a toy!

Instructional Prompt: Hit the jump button when you land on a toy to get a extra high jump!

Outro Text: From the free throw line, you shoot! Nothing but Baki of the net!

Outside Belleview Library

(Tony looks mad, and then bewildered)

Tony: Ow Ow Ow Ow Ow...

Tony: Huh? Why do I feel so weird?

Teo: What are you waiting for? Grab his scooter!

Tony: Why would I want Mike's dumb scooter?

[Teo runs off]

Tony: See ya on the court. I won't let you win next time!

[Tony runs off]

Mike: Let... me... win?

Mike: Yea. Ok.

Mike: Who are you?

Mike: I haven't seen you around town before.

[The Hero walks in place, simulating a conversation with Mike]

Mike: Well, nice to meet you Hero, I'm Mike.

Mike: Yikes, I was supposed to meet my sister at the General Store!

Mike: See ya around, Hero!

[Mike then walks off to Mr. Esow’s Shop]

Belleview

[Optional Dialogue]

Anita: Teo isn't very nice. I wonder what mom n' dad would think...

Aly: Tony can be such a jerk sometimes.

Benedict: No one appreciates the quality dishes I prepare.

Billy Yonder: This town ain't what it used to be.

Bo: Can't wait for football season to start.

Bobby Tweeth: Who are you?

Bruce Lannialli: Eh... who needs family anyway.

Deputy Snyder: I should just lock everyone up...

Doctor Curie: I'm too busy to chat with strangers.

Franco Key: This town doesn't deserve my talent.

Heather: {To Mike} Sorry for yelling at you. Not sure why I was so upset.

Heather: Seems kinda silly now...

Mike: Yea, you seemed to lose it for a minute there.

Mike: He just wants the normal groceries.

[Mr. Esow runs (angrily) towards Mike from the other side of the block]

Mr. Esow: I know you stole a pack of ExcitoStickers!

Mr. Esow: You better give it back!

Heather: Mike! You what!? What's wrong with you!?

Mike: I didn't steal anything... I don't even know what ExcitoStickers are!

[The Hero walks over to Mr. Esow]

(Mr. Esow looks visibly dizzy)

Mr. Esow: Uh... My Head.

Mr. Esow: {To Mike} I may have the wrong suspect.

Mr. Esow: I'm sorry for accusing you!

Mr. Esow: From now on...

Mr. Esow: All ExcitoSticker purchases from my shop come with a 1.625% discount!

[Mr. Esow thinks this over, only to reconsider]

Mr. Esow: Ah... fine... you win.

[Mr. Esow turns to go back into his shop]

Mr. Esow: 2%.

Mike: ...!

Mike: I wouldn't want to put you out of business.

Mike: That's a pretty steep discount.

Mr. Esow: Hrmm...

[Mr. Esow thinks it over]

Mr. Esow: Well, just don't go buying TOO much from me.

Mr. Esow: I'll see you around!

[Mr. Esow heads into his store]

Heather: Mike, It's getting late.

Heather: Let's grab these groceries and head back home.

Mike: Sure thing.

Mike: {To the Hero} Until next time, Hero.

(Mike and Heather walk away, over to the Grocer)

[The Hero approaches the town statue when a mysterious voice calls out to them]

[Aldark appears out of the shadows]

Aldark: Your pathetic imagination game won't be as easy against my Shadows...

[Two Minimus’ show up behind the Hero]

Aldark: If you manage to survive, go tell Mari...

Aldark: I hope to see her soon.

[The Hero tries to reach Aldark, only for him to disappear. The Hero taunts the Minimus’ as they approach them instead]

[The Hero tries to escape from the Minimus’, but they’re not far behind]

[Jowee jumps in shock]

Mari: Maybe you can bring something from the Creator?

Mari: Something drawn that they'll remember?

Jowee: Aha!

[Jowee finally reveals himself to Mari and the Hero as he approaches the latter]

Jowee: I knew you were plotting something secret!

[Jowee turns his back on them]

Jowee: Mari...

[He turns back to face Mari]

Jowee: Why didn't you tell me the Hero was back?

Mari: {To Jowee} Uh... Well... I sorta...

Jowee: You promised me you'd tell me everything...

Jowee: I guess that promise didn't mean anything, huh!?

Mari: No! I was going to tell you...

Mari: I just...

Mari: needed some more time.

Jowee: Sure, Mari...

[Mari looks over at the Hero]

Mari: Hero can you help me out?

[Jowee runs towards the Hero, ready to fight]

Mari: I wanted to bring Mike here quietly, but maybe that wasn't the best plan.

Jowee: That's Ok Mari!

Jowee: If I wasn't so hungry, maybe I wouldn't have gotten so upset.

Jowee: It's just that Chef Cookie stopped making his famous Banya Scones...

Jowee: And I've been cravin' them like you wouldn't believe!

Jowee: Hero I bet you could convince him to make his Banya Scones again!

Mari: That's not how the Book of Imagination works...

Mari: Hero can't just use it to force Raposa to do it's bidding!

Jowee: Oh...

Jowee: Hmmm...

[Jowee turns to the Hero with an idea]

Jowee: It wouldn't hurt to ask, right?

Mari: I suppose not...

Mari: I'm gonna explain the current situation to Jowee.

(Cookie is visibly angry)

[Cookie turns back around], (looking guiltily at the Hero)

[The Hero does a dance to insinuate an explanation, and Jowee gets excited]

Jowee: He did?

Jowee: Really?

Jowee: Hand it over!!!

[The Hero hands over the scone]

Mari: Jowee... It's a pastry. Get a hold of yourself.

Jowee: But... You haven't tasted... They're glorious!

Mari: Break off a piece for me then.

Jowee: ...

[Jowee breaks a piece of the scone off and hands it to Mari]

Jowee: Here ya go.

[Mari eats the broken piece]

Mari: This...

Mari: This is pretty good.

Jowee: PRETTY GOOD?!

Jowee: It's... the BEST Scone ever baked.

[The Hero starts to walk away, but Mari stops them]

Mari: Wait, Hero! Sorry!

Mari: I'm done explaining the situation to Jowee.

Mari: He had a good suggestion!

Jowee: Yea!

Jowee: We should ask the Creator to Draw a really cool watch for Mike.

Jowee: One of a kind! One that'll convince him to come back to Rapoville.

Mari: And it's useful too!

Mari: The watch can keep track of time in both the Human and Raposa realm.

Mari: How about it?

Mari: Can you design us a watch for Mike?

[The player then draws the Watch in Draw Mode and leaves, and the Hero heads back]

Mari: That's one awesome looking watch!

Jowee: I bet Mike is gonna love it!

Mari: Use the Book of Imagination to go back to Belleview...

Mari: Give Mike that watch and bring him back!

[The Hero activates a portal and teleports back to Belleview]

Outside Mike's House

[The Hero arrives outside Mike’s house, while Mike himself is outside. The two take notice and begin to approach each other, but two Minimus’ and a Maximus start spawning in front of Mike]

Mike: Ahhhhh!

[Mike turns to face each Shadow being]

Mike: Who are you!?

Mike: Get away from me!

[The Shadow beings inch closer to Mike as he backs away and faces the Hero]

Mike: {To the Hero} Hero, Gimmie a hand!

[The Hero runs towards the Minimus]

Darkness Surrounds

Intro Text: Well this is unfair. Show this jerk what you’ve got!

[Mike turns around to face the Hero]

[The Hero walks in place to insinuate the plan before opening a portal to Rapoville]

Mike: This has to be a dream…

[The Hero walks through the portal]

Mike: …

[The Shadow beings come closer to Mike, who turns to face the portal]

Mike: Here we go...

Mike: Either I wake up, or this is about to get REAL weird.

[Mike runs through the portal before the Shadow creatures could catch him]

Rapoville

[Mari and Jowee are standing in front of the Town Hall as the portal sends the Hero and Mike right beside it. Isaac notices the two’s return at his shop nearby]

Mari: Hero, you did it!.

(Jowee excitedly walks around next to Mari to see Mike)

Jowee: Hey!

Jowee: It’s Mike! Mike’s back!

(A bunch more townsfolk approach the group, happy to see Mike back)

Mike: …

Mike: Well… this is quite a dream.

Mike: Not the first dream I’ve had with these weird creatures…

[Mike turns towards Isaac, who slowly backs away]

Mike: But definitely the first where they speak.

[Some of the Raposa inch closer]

Mari: This isn’t a dream!

Mari: We sent Hero to bring you back here…

Mari: I need to speak with you, it’s important.

Mari: …In private.

[As the group heads into the Town Hall, the townsfolk all walk away, with Mya looking visibly disappointed]

Rapoville Town Hall

Mike: By the way…

[Mike looks around the Hall’s interior]

Mike: Where did Hero go?

[Mike looks back at the Hero]

Mari: Uh…

Mike: Ok, now I definitely know this is a dream.

[Mike faces Mari]

Mike: That’s not Hero.

Mari: It appears human when it’s in your realm…

[Mari looks at the Hero, then back to Mike]

Mari: Over here, you can see it’s true design.

Jowee: Welcome back Mike… We all missed you!

[Mike walks closer to Jowee as Mari paces around in deep thought]

Mari: Hero told me that you can see the Shadow…

Mari: That’s… not a good development.

Mike: Yea, this dream certainly had a nightmarish start to it.

[Mari turns around and walks back a little, exasperated at how Mike’s still not convinced]

Mari: Sigh…

Mari: Just trust me, no other humans can cross into our realm.

[Mari approaches Mike]

Mari: Not even your sister Heather.

Mari: For some reason, while you were with us…

Mari: after the accident…

Mari: You became part of our world somehow.

Mari: The same way the Hero is a part of yours.

(Mari is visibly worried)

Mari: And the Shadow too…

Mari: Wilfre, a cunning and wicked Raposa, carried the Shadow…

Mari: When we defeated him, and restored this village, the Shadow was forced into your realm.

Jowee: {To Mari} You still won’t tell me how you figured that out!

[Mari looks back at Jowee, not ready to tell him yet]

Mari: …

Mari: I don’t know what the Shadow is planning…

Mari: But it can’t be good. Hero needs your help to stop it.

[Mike looks around the room, taking all of this information in]

Mike: How exactly do I stop the Shadow?

Mike: Just in case this dream continues…

Mari: Well…

Mari: I haven’t figured that out yet.

Mari: But I’m working on it!

Mari: Anyway, I’m not sure if you realize it yet, but our realms have opposite times of day.

Mari: So when it’s day here in Rapoville, it’s night in Belleview.

Mari: You should probably wait until morning to go back.

[Mari looks back at the Hero]

Mari: Hero tells me the Shadow only come out at night.

[Mike looks around the room again]

Mike: Unless you know how I can wake myself up…

[Mike runs out of the room immediately. Heather walks up to the Hero]

Heather: So, when did you move into town?

[The Hero walks in place, insinuating speaking to Heather]

Heather: But things have been a little weird here for a while.

Heather: Ever since the accident…

Heather: Everything seems to be upset about something.

Heather: Or super angry at each other. It’s unusual.

[Heather begins to walk out of the room, only to stop at the door and turn back to the Hero]

Heather: Anyway, take care Hero. I’ll see ya around.

[Aly is explaining the situation with her parents to Mike]

(She is clearly upset about it)

[Mike suddenly remembers about the Hero]

[Mike turns to the Hero, then back to Aly]

[The Hero begins to walk away, only for Mike to stop them]

Mike: They actually helped me handle a Tony-freak-out the other day.

Aly: …Without getting something thrown in your way?

[Aly looks at the Hero, then back to Mike]

(Mike is surprised to hear this)

[Mike, Aly and the Hero walk near the School on their way home, only for a Maximus to appear]

(Mike is immediately scared as he runs towards Aly)

Mike: STOP! Aly, watch out!!

[Aly turns around to face Mike]

Aly: What’s wrong?

[Mike faces the Maximus as it inches closer]

Mike: Don’t you see it?

[Aly faces the Maximus, but is unable to see them]

Aly: Is… Something there?

[The Maximus comes closer, prompting Mike to run in front of Aly]

(Aly is irritated by this)

Aly: Hey! What’s wrong with you?

Mike: I’m protecting you!

[Aly backs away a little]

(She looks visibly uncomfortable)

Aly: Mike… You’re really starting to freak me out.

Mike: You don’t see it? It’s right there!

Aly: I…

Aly: I’m gonna go home now. I’ll see you later.

[Aly runs from the scene as Mike faces the Hero]

Mike: So yesterday wasn’t a crazy dream after all then?

[Mike faces the Maximus]

Mike: I… I think I’m gonna pass out now.

[The Hero activates a portal to Rapoville]

Mari: But we can’t go there.

Mike: It’s not that impressive.

Mike: Your realm is way more interesting.

[Mike walks closer and looks at the Hero]

Mike: Is Aly gonna be OK?

Mike: Why couldn’t she see the Shadow?

[The Hero moves in place, insinuating an explanation to Mike]

Mari: I haven’t figured that one out yet.

Mari: Just because she can’t see it doesn’t mean it’s not dangerous.

[Both Mike and Mari look towards the Hero]

Mari: But, Hero has already defeated a few of them!

Mari: With some more practice they’ll stop it for good.

[Jowee suddenly remembers something, then proceeds to walk across the room and looks at the Hero]

Jowee: Hero, have you given Mike the watch yet?

Mike: Watch…? What watch?

Jowee: Yeah!

Jowee: The Creator drew it for you!

Jowee: It will allow you to speed up time, and move between realms, just like the Hero!

Mike: That’d be cool...

Mike: I wish I could take it back with me.

Jowee: You can!

Jowee: Hero will give it to ya!

[The Hero gives Mike the watch]

Mike: Um… Thanks.

Mari: You should probably wait a bit before going back.

Mari: Maybe go say hello to some old friends?

[Mike walks over to the stream]

Mike: Huh… I wonder how this watch works…

[Mike activates the watch, which triggers a portal to Belleview]

Mike: It worked! I did it! Go Mike.

[Mike turns to the Hero]

Mike: I need to check on Aly. I’m really worried about her.

Mike: Will you come with me?

[The Hero moves around, insinuating an agreement to come with him before they enter the portal. Crazy Barks attempts to go through it himself but misses at the last second]

(Crazy Barks is disappointed)

Aly’s House

[Aly is seen in her living room, facing a bookshelf]

Aly: Mike is so weird.

Aly: But he’s been through a lot…

Aly: I know he has a good heart. I’ll text him tomorrow morning.

[Aldark appears in the room]

Aldark: Ah… Aly.

[Aldark teleports closer as Aly moves across to another part of the shelf]

Aldark: Such a sweet girl.

[Aldark teleports again as Aly moves away from the shelf]

Aldark: But our plan requires something else.

[A Minimus is spawned]

[The Minimus possesses Aly, clouding her mind with Shadow]

[Aldark laughs before teleporting out of the house]

[The portal from Rapoville spawns outside the school, and Mike and the Hero jump out. The two begin to walk home, only to be stopped by Aldark, who has appeared at the front of the school]

Mike: It’s you!

[The Hero walks closer to Aldark]

(This gets Mike excited)

Mike: Hero, now’s your chance! Get him!

Aldark: Heh.

[Aldark comes closer, prompting Mike to walk back]

[The Hero doesn’t move]

[At this point, Mari walks over to them]

(Indee doesn’t seem to be happy about this deal)

[The Hero finds Cricket, who is relieved to see them]

[Cricket observes the area]

Cricket: I’m in a terrible predicament!

Cricket: I’ve been hunting a no-good thief!

[The Hero walks in place to ask if Zsasha is behind it]

[Cricket walks over to the Banya crop]

(Cricket is clearly not happy about this)

Cricket: Mischievous little thing.

Cricket: This Baki stays hidden during the day.

[Cricket looks over the area again]

[Cricket walks up to the Hero as they catch the Baki thief]

Cricket: Hero! You caught it!

[The Hero walks in place as Cricket approaches the Baki thief]

Cricket: Get movin! It’s straight to jail with this one!

[The Hero walks away a little as the Baki thief freezes]

Cricket: Ah... don’t look at me like that.

[The Hero walks back towards the Baki thief as Cricket turns his back on them]

Cricket: Just...

[Cricket observes the area, then turns back to the Baki thief]

Cricket: Promise me you won’t steal again.

[The Baki thief jumps in agreement]

Cricket: I’ll ask Farmer Brown to save you some. That way you don’t need to take from his fields.

Cricket: No one deserves to go hungry.

Cricket: Go on and git. Before I change my mind.

[Cricket moves out of the way as the Baki thief leaves, then comes back toward the Hero]

Cricket: Sometimes compassion is the right approach.

Cricket: Thanks for your help. My previous offer still stands by the way.

[The Hero approaches Mari and Jowee, who are in front of the hall]

Mari: Hero!

Mari: I’ve got nothing but good news from the Raposa!

Mari: You’ve been a huge help. Thank you!

[The Hero walks in place, then Jowee walks up to them]

Jowee: I thought maybe you could talk to Heather?

Jowee: She might know a little more.

Jowee: Tell her that I said hello!

(Jowee’s excitement quickly turns to sorrow)

Jowee: We miss her...

[Mari walks up to Jowee]

Mari: I don’t think she’ll remember us Jowee.

Mari: Wilfre told... Err...

[Mari realizes what she was about to say and quickly thinks up a different explanation]

Mari: I’m pretty sure she wasn’t in our realm the same way Mike was.

Jowee: Ah… That’s too bad.

[Jowee turns to the Hero]

Jowee: Maybe Hero will figure out a way for us to visit the human realm!

[Jowee turns to Mari]

Jowee: That would be an amazing adventure.

Mari: I would be right there with you and it would be a lot of fun...

Mari: But I don’t think it’s possible.

[Mari walks up to the Hero]

Mari: Can you try and see if Heather can help?

Mari: I’m starting to get worried about Mike.

[The Hero walks up to Heather as she looks around the park]

Heather: Oh, hey there Hero.

Heather: What are you up to?

[The Hero walks in place to explain the situation to Heather]

Heather: Mike? My brother?

Heather: He passed by with Tony a few minutes ago.

(Heather starts to worry about Mike)

Heather: I think he’s still really upset about Aly.

Heather: I’m pretty worried about him.

(Heather begins feeling frustrated)

Heather: Something’s changed in him suddenly.

[Heather calms down a little, and walks up to the statue]

Heather: They were heading towards the School.

Heather: I need to go home. It’s starting to get dark.

Heather: Would you find him for me, please?

[Heather begins to walk home]

[Mike, furious at Aldark, is shouting at him in the school hallways]

Mike: Whatever you did to Aly, undo it!

Mike: Or I’ll...

Mike: I’ll...

[Aldark, knowing Mike’s threats aren’t intimidating him, walks closer and begins taunting him]

Aldark: Go on, You’ll what?

Mike: I don’t know... but you’re gonna regret it!

Aldark: You are in no position to threaten me...

Aldark: But I feel we are... misunderstood.

[Aldark fades away, prompting Mike to walk a little before he appears again behind him]

Aldark: I want nothing to do with Aly.

Aldark: My plans involve something greater than your humble, little town.

Mike: What do you mean?

Aldark: I can release Aly from her predicament...

[Aldark fades away, only to appear again a short distance away from Mike]

Aldark: But what small favor would you do for me?

[A crashing noise is heard from the end of the hall. Aldark turns around to see Tony walk through the hall doors, who looks around the room]

Tony: Mike, who are you talking to?

Tony: It doesn’t matter. I think I heard the security guard!

[Tony walks through Aldark over to Mike]

Tony: We’re in a heap of trouble if they catch us in here.

Mike: Huh?

[Mike looks around the room]

Mike: I... Ok, let’s go.

[As the two boys leave the premises, Aldark walks closer to where the Hero is hiding]

Aldark: There’s no need to keep hiding.

Aldark: You can come out now.

[The Hero comes out of hiding and approaches Aldark]

Aldark: Ahh, Hero. Always trying to disrupt my carefully laid plans.

Aldark: I’m afraid I can’t let you escape this time.

[An Arrogance appears behind the Hero and begins to approach them as Aldark disappears]

[Aldark fades in and out a few times out of rage, only to teleport back in front of the Hero]

[Aldark teleports again, this time to the spot the Hero was hiding before]

Aldark: It doesn’t matter how strong you become.

[Aldark teleports back to where he was before]

Aldark: You can’t stop my plan.

[The Hero attempts to approach them, only for Aldark to teleport once more]

Aldark: I know what Mike really wants.

[Aldark teleports behind the Hero]

Aldark: What he deeply, truly desires.

[The Hero tries to approach Aldark again, but he fades again to render himself invisible]

Aldark: You don’t have the ability to offer that to him.

[Aldark fades back]

Aldark: Only I can do that.

[Aldark teleports back to his original spot]

Aldark: Enjoy your fruitless work, creation.

Aldark: Next time we meet, I won’t be as forgiving nor as patient.

[The Hero tries to approach Aldark, but he fades away one last time]

[Heather, angrily asks about the situation as he stands in front of the television]

[Mike turns towards Heather, equally infuriated]

Mike: Go bother someone else.

[The Hero walks into the house, which does not seem to help the situation]

Mike: Oh… great, it’s Hero.

Mike: Don’t you have anything better to do?

[Jowee looks over at the Hero, then walks over to Click]

[Click thinks for a bit, pacing around in a circle]

Click: Sorry Jowee... Can’t say that I have...

[As Jowee walks over to the Hero, Click walks closer to the building in deep thought]

[Jowee walks over near the exit, only to stop and face the Hero]

[The Hero approaches the town well, then notices Miles looking miserable. Miles is surprised to see the Hero again, and he approaches them]

Miles: Hey... Uh...

Miles: Hero...?

Miles: Is that you?

Miles: When did you come back?

[The Hero walks in place to explain, and Miles is stoked. Jowee is heading towards the well when he notices the two, and walks over to them]

Jowee: Miles!

[The Hero steps aside as Jowee and Miles approach each other]

Jowee: I couldn’t find you anywhere...

Jowee: I looked all over!

[Miles turns his back on Jowee and walks away a little, becoming miserable again]

Miles: I’m sorry...

Miles: I just don’t want to go back.

Miles: I miss my mom.

Jowee: Hey wapo... Rose would be proud of you!

Miles: I’m a no good failure...

Miles: And I ran away from Watersong...

Miles: I don’t deserve to be there anyway...

[Jowee turns to the Hero]

Jowee: Hero... We need to help Miles!

Jowee: He could use a little pick me up right about now.

[The Hero walks over to Miles]

[Miles jumps in place four times, turning each time]

[Miles runs over to the Hero]

[The Hero thanks Miles by walking in place, but then Miles runs back to where he was before. He looks around the area]

Miles: I still feel pretty overwhelmed...

Miles: And a little lonely, too.

[Both Jowee and Miles do some thinking about how to solve this]

Jowee: Maybe the Creator can help.

Jowee: They always know what to do!

Miles: That’s a great idea! How did you get to be so dependable, Jowee?

Jowee: Friends are always there for each other, silly Rapo!

Miles: Creator, I don’t want to be by myself any longer.

Miles: Can you design a friend for me?

[The player then draws the Pet in Draw Mode and leaves. Miles is running around the Well with his new friend in sheer awe]

Miles: SO.

Miles: COOL!

[Miles walks over to his Pet]

Miles: I think I’ll call you... YoYaYa.

Jowee: That’s an interesting name, Miles.

Miles: Yup, it’s amazing! I love it.

[Miles and YoYaYa begin to walk away, only to approach Jowee]

Miles: Oh! Yes.

Miles: Why were you looking... For me?

[Jowee looks over at the Hero, then back to Miles]

Jowee: We’re trying to find a Raposa with no ears.

Jowee: We were told you might know where they could be.

Jowee: Have you seen anyone like that here?

[Miles thinks this over for a moment]

Miles: I have!

Miles: I was trying to rent a room here in Watersong.

Miles: But he got there before me.

Miles: He didn’t seem all too friendly.

[Jowee realizes what he meant and walks towards the Hero]

Jowee: That must be Mike! Let’s go!

[Jowee walks over to Miles]

Jowee: Thank you Miles! You’re a life-saver!

Watersong House

[Jowee and the Hero walk into the house to find Mike venting to Mari]

Mike: Go away! Leave me alone.

[Mike turns his back on them as Mari walks towards him]

Mari: Mike! We’ve been looking everywhere for you...

Mari: What are you doing here?

Mike: I messed up everything in Belleview, so I decided to live here.

Mike: The whole town is a wreck...

Mike: Aly hates me...

Mike: And it’s all my fault.

Mike: I wish I didn’t survive that car accident.

Jowee: That’s crazy talk!

[Mari looks over at Jowee as he starts to get irritated at Mike]

Jowee: You don’t mean that!

[Mari walks over to Jowee]

Mari: Jowee, I know you’re upset and only want to help, but please calm it down a little.

[Jowee does so, and Mari walks over to Mike once more]

Mari: Mike... I felt the same way when I lost my dad.

Mari: He meant everything to me...

Mari: I blamed myself for what happened to him.

Mari: Everyone...

[Mari looks around the room]

Mari: My friends here, and Hero helped me through it.

Mari: It took some time, but I eventually forgave the person who took my dad away from me.

Mari: And if it wasn’t for him, your realm would be doomed.

[Jowee, shocked, walks over to Mari]

Jowee: Wilfre!?

Mari: He’s the one who told me about the human realm...

Mari: The Shadow that consumed him was banished there when we sent Mike home.

Mari: Wilfre scoured the land and found the Book of Imagination.

(Mari now feels glum)

Mari: I was afraid...

Mari: Afraid the Shadow would come back into our realm.

[Mari walks over to the Hero]

Mari: I should have asked the Creator for Hero sooner.

Mike: So you knew this whole time, and let my town fall apart?

[Mike turns towards the others]

Mike: Doesn’t surprise me.

Mike: Everyone is out for themselves.

[Mike runs furiously out of the house, and Jowee and Mari walk over near the entrance as the latter begins to feel guilty]

Mari: He’s not wrong...

Mari: Just more proof that I’m not cut out to be Mayor and I can never live up to my dad’s name.

Mari: I can’t even help my friends when they need it the most.

[Mari runs out of the house, leaving Jowee to walk over to the Hero]

Jowee: Uh... Hero...

Jowee: This isn’t so good.

Jowee: Let’s find Mari first, then we’ll track down Mike later.

[Jowee and the Hero leave the house]

Secret Beach

[Jowee slowly walks over to Mari’s side as she peers over the ocean]

Jowee: Hey...

Mari: Hey...

[The two sit in silence for a little, then Mari turns to Jowee]

Mari: Hey Jowee...

Mari: Does your offer from before still stand?

[Jowee turns to Mari]

Jowee: My... offer?

Mari: Yea...

Mari: Years ago, you asked me to go on an adventure.

Mari: And I turned you down...

[The two sit in silence again]

Mari: I think... I really want to go now.

Mari: More than anything.

[The two sit in silence once more]

Mari: Maybe...

Mari: I’ll find out what I’m really called to do. Who I’m supposed to be...

Jowee: You’re supposed to be our Mayor!

Jowee: And my friend!

[Jowee steps back a little as the two are silent one last time]

[Mari begins to walk away from Jowee. As he walks to the side to have her in his direct sight, she turns around to face him]

[The Hero walks in place as Jowee gets overjoyed]

Mari: Now it’s our turn to help Mike...

Mari: {To the Hero} Aldark is trying to finish what the Shadow started in our realm.

Mari: {To Jowee} We need to go back to Belleview to defeat the last Shadow.

Jowee: Then defeat Aldark!

[The Hero tries to approach Aldark, but he renders himself invisible]

[Aldark appears back in place as the Hero walks from his spot]

Aldark: Did she forget to tell you about the connection between realms?

Aldark: Unlike that Raposa girl...

Aldark: I’m happy to share the full truth with you.

[Aldark teleports over to the side of the Hall]

Aldark: You were only able to travel across realms because, deep down, Mike still had memories of you.

Aldark: He doesn’t realize the power he has.

Aldark: But once he does...

[Aldark disappears]

Aldark: He’ll gladly cut off the Raposa forever.

[Aldark reappears in front of the Hero]

[Aldark turns his back on the Hero and walks a short distance]

Tony: He told me he was gonna settle this whole thing once and for all.

Tony: I have no idea what he means by that.

[Heather thinks it over and realizes what he meant]

Aly: Oh no...

Aly: {To the Hero} Hurry Hero, we gotta go to the police station!

[The quartet head towards the Police Station]

[The quartet arrive at the station to find Mike approaching Deputy Snyder, as other citizens watch over nearby]

Mike: You killed them!

Mike: You took my parents away from me!

[Deputy Snyder looks around the area and steps back, becoming glummer than before]

Deputy Snyder: Hey Mike...

Deputy Snyder: I’m sorry...

Deputy Snyder: You know it was an accident.

Deputy Snyder: I wasn’t...

Mike: I know all about your excuses. And I don’t care about any of them.

Mike: You should have been more careful!

Mike: Your job was to protect us...

Mike: And now they’re dead.

[Deputy Snyder walks a short distance away]

Deputy Snyder: You think that night doesn’t haunt me still?

[Deputy Snyder walks back to where he was]

Deputy Snyder: I’ve not had a single peaceful night’s rest in four years.

Deputy Snyder: I failed, and you paid the price for it.

Deputy Snyder: I’ll never forgive myself for what happened.

[Deputy Snyder walks over to Mike, who steps back as he comes forward]

Deputy Snyder: And I don’t expect you to, either.

[Mike looks over at his friends, then back at Deputy Snyder a few times. He steps backwards as The Hero approaches the latter]

Deputy of Despair

Intro Text: Deputy Snyder is going to be overwhelmed with guilt.

Police Station

(Deputy Snyder is now stunned as Mike continues to be furious at him)

Deputy Snyder: I... I...

[Mike runs over to Deputy Snyder]

[Mike looks over at the Hero]

Mike: I don’t care what Hero did for you.

[Mike runs towards the Hero]

[Shocked, Heather walks closer to Mike as he looks around the area at all the citizens in sheer rage]

Mike: I wish none of you existed!

[Everyone jumps in shock, and Heather steps back. The Hero approaches Mike as he tries to step backwards away from them]

Intro Text: Mike’s losing it! Remind him that you’re there for him.

[Mike looks around the area, at the townsfolk, at the Hero]

Mike: Hero... Why?

[Mike looks around at everyone again]

[Mike walks over to Deputy Snyder]

Mike: {To the Hero} Even after the way we’ve all treated you...

Mike: And especially after how awful I’ve been.

[Mike looks around at everyone again, then walks back towards the Hero]

Mike: Thank you Hero, for being my friend.

[The Hero walks in place, then Mike talks to Aly and Heather, who accompany him as he walks over to Deputy Snyder one last time, with Tony not far behind]

Mike: I’m sorry Mr. Deputy...

Mike: I know it wasn’t your fault...

Mike: You tried to stop it...

Mike: You shouldn’t live with that burden.

[Deputy Snyder walks over to the station doors]

Deputy Snyder: Mike...

[Deputy Snyder looks over at Mike with the first smile he had in years]

Deputy Snyder: That’s... real nice of ya.

[Mike, Aly, Tony and Heather walk over to the Hero]

Mike: I know where he is hiding...

Mike: Of all the places he could go...

Mike: He picked MY house.

Mike: We need to stop him before it’s too late.

Mike: You can do it, Hero! Let’s put an end to this!

[Aly and Heather also cheer them on]

Mike’s House

[The Hero approaches Mike’s house as a voice calls out to them]

????: There you are, construct.

[The Hero walks over to where the voice called out]

????: You’ve made me wait for so long.

[The Hero walks a bit over to the front of the house as Aldark appears at the front door]

Aldark: I thought maybe you had given up.

[Mike reaches the house and approaches the two]

Mike: Hero! I’m here to help too!

Mike: We can defeat him together!

[Aldark disappears, prompting Mike and the Hero to walk along the sidewalk a short distance, only for him to reappear in front of them]

Aldark: Saved your precious friends, did you?

[Aldark disappears and reappears at a new spot]

Aldark: Good for you… Aren’t you so dear to these humans.

Aldark: No matter.

[Aldark disappears again]

Aldark: Your efforts have been but a waste of these pitiful creatures.

[Aldark reappears back at his original spot]

Aldark: In the end, this realm will be bathed in shadow.

[Suddenly, Shadow creatures appear throughout Belleview – a Minimus, Maximus and Desperate at the Gas Station preventing Luke and Jeff from escaping; a Maximus an Furious approaching Mr. and Mrs. Esow near his shop; a Furious and Desperate encountering Matt Swipe and Bobby Tweeth; and Teo, Tiffany, Kate and Helen being surrounded by two Arrogances, a Minimus and a Maximus. All villagers encountered take notice of these creatures before the focus is back on Aldark]

Aldark: You may have saved these people, but you hold no power over the darkness.

Mike: Hey! You can’t beat Hero! We’ll win for sure.

[Aldark disappears and reappears behind them]

Aldark: I tire of your presence. Your… Interruptions.

[Aldark disappears and reappears aside the Hero]

Aldark: No more little games here.

[Aldark reappears back at his original spot]

Aldark: It’s time to be free of you for eternity.

Font of Darkness

Intro Text: Your final chance to push back the darkness.

Outro Text: Another battle won...

Mike’s House

[Aldark begins gradually fading in and out of existence]

Aldark: How...

Aldark: How is this possible?

[Mike steps back a bit as Aldark steps closer]

Aldark: Fool. This hollow victory means nothing.

[Aldark disappears]

Aldark: You cannot stop the darkness.

[Aldark reappears]

Aldark: As long as there exists a human realm, we shall lurk in the shadow.

Aldark: Farewell, construct... Till next we meet again.

[Aldark’s disappearance and reappearance slowly gets faster, until eventually he disappears completely, along with all of the shadow attacking the Belleview residents. Mike walks up to the Hero after this all happens]

Mike: Hero! What happened?

[Mike looks around the area carefully]

Mike: I don’t see any more shadow!

Mike: Are... Are they... gone?

[The Hero walks in place, prompting Mike to think about the situation]

Mike: I see... I see...

[The Hero walks in place again]

Mike: Well... I’ll do my best to keep the Shadow away!

[Mike walks towards the town, only to walk to the Hero as it plans to activate the portal to Rapoville]

Mike: Hey! Hero, wait!

Mike: Does this mean you’re going away?

Mike: Will you come back and visit us?

[The Hero walks a step then activates the portal, but is stopped by Mike]

Mike: Thanks, for everything Hero...

[The Hero walks in place, then goes through the portal. Mike walks closer towards it before it disappears]

Mike: I hope I’ll get to see you someday.

[Mike looks over for a bit, then walks across the driveway]

Rapoville

[Mari and Jowee are walking near the Eternal Flame as the portal appears in front of Cookie’s Restaurant. The two walk closer as the Hero appears]

Jowee: Hero! I’m so glad you’re back!

Jowee: Did you defeat Aldark?

[To their relief, the Hero walks in place to confirm. As they walk towards each other, the mysterious Raposa returns. They stop right near the group, which shocks Jowee]

????: I never imagined it could even be done...

????: Hopefully this will buy us some time...

????: When the Shadow appears again, I fear the battle may not be so easy.

(Mari is exasperated by these words)

Mari: EASY!?

Mari: You’re wapo! We almost lost Mike!

[The mysterious Raposa walks towards the Eternal Flame]

????: One human...

????: One town...

[The mysterious Raposa turns back towards the group]

????: Next time, maybe all humans, everywhere.

????: Now if you’ll excuse me, I have some very important work to tend to...

[The mysterious Raposa walks away a short distance]

????: Far away from this little village.

????: If I uncover anything of interest...

[The mysterious Raposa turns towards the group]

????: {To Mari} I’ll be sure to let you know, mayor.

[The group watch on as the mysterious Raposa begins to walk away completely. Mari and Jowee turn to the Hero once they’re gone]

Mari: Thank you, Hero...

Mari: {To the Creator} And, thanks to you too, Creator... You’re awesome!

[Jowee turns to Mari]

Jowee: Mari... I... Uh...

[Mari thinks for a moment, then turns back to the Hero]

Mari: Hero, will you stick around with us for a little longer?

Mari: I know eventually you’ll need to go back home too...

Mari: But, we’d love to have you stay a while in our village!

[A large group of Raposa walk over to the village centre, all happy to see the Hero back once more. The mysterious Raposa is seen one more time, exiting the village via the Village Entrance. They contemplate leaving, looking back at the village, but ultimately decide to keep moving forward]

[Miles takes YoYaYa for a walk, and some other Raposa take notice of his pet, with Crazy Barks being especially crazy over it]

Belleview Police Station

[Heather, Tony, Mike and Aly are walking past the Police Station when Deputy Snyder comes out. Mike says a quick hello to Deputy Snyder before they leave, and he is grateful]

Mike’s House

[The group all head back to Mike’s house, with Heather entering without further ado. Mike and Aly say their goodbyes before Mike enters the house. Aly looks both ways before walking to her block and stares back at the house, eventually going back to hers]

[Mari is watching over the ocean as Jowee slowly walks towards her]

Jowee: Hi Mari!

[Startled, Mari turns towards Jowee]

Mari: Wapo... you scared me!

Jowee: I’m sorry...

[Jowee looks over the area]

Jowee: I can come back later.

Mari: No!

Mari: I mean... You can stay, Jowee.

[Mari turns back towards the ocean as Jowee goes besides her]

Mari: This is my favorite spot in the whole world...

Jowee: Oh yea, I like the beach too.

Mari: No silly, not the beach.

Mari: It’s when Hero is around.

Mari: Somehow, whenever they’re around...

Mari: I feel like everything is gonna be ok.

[Jowee thinks about this for a moment, all the while contemplating what he’s about to ask Mari]

Jowee: Will you marry me?

[Mari jumps in surprise]

Mari: Jowee? What?!

[Jowee walks closer]

Jowee: I asked the Creator to design the most amazing ring...

Mari: Jowee... I...

[Mari thinks this over as Jowee steps back a little. Eventually, she walks towards him]

Mari: I will.

[Jowee jumps in surprise this time, and Mari walks closer again]

Mari: There isn’t a greater adventure I’d rather be on...

Mari: Than this one, with you.

[The two come closer for a kiss]

[Mike and Aly walk towards the Library]

Mike: Ugh...

Mike: Aly! That grammar test was outright impossible.

Mike: I lost points for improper use of Ellipsis!

[Mike begins to walk into the Library, but is stopped by Aly]

Aly: What made you decide to forgive Deputy Snyder?

Mike: Hmm... Well...
