The Lighthouse is a creation that appears in Drawn to Life and a building that appears in Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter (Wii). It serves as a guiding beacon to ships, bringing them into the Docks in Rapoville. The Lighthouse needs to be restored before Pirate Beard's ship can be moved into the docks and the pirates stop terrorizing the village. The Template page for the Lighthouse can be found in the Conch Ruins.
Appearance[edit]
The Lighthouse template has a cylindrical shape with a round top. This building takes on a very Raposa-like appearance due to the ears on the top of the building. The Lighthouse has two spotlights that resemble eyes. The body of the building has a rounded door, two square windows, and an anchor is hanging over the door.
[edit]
In the original Drawn to Life, the lighthouse is first mentioned by the Mayor, who tells its story to the Hero. The Creator had once given the villagers a lighthouse - a Raposa statue with two glowing eyes, designed to focus on incoming ships. However, when the Shadow appeared, the lighthouse vanished, and eventually, that entire part of Rapoville was consumed by Darkness. The Mayor then sends the Hero to find the lighthouse's Template page to guide a ship into the Docks.
When the Hero returns from Conch Ruins with the lighthouse page and Pirate Beard's crew, the Mayor takes the four of them to the docks and asks the Creator to create a new lighthouse. The new lighthouse is able to guide the ship into the docks, allowing the Mayor to give it to Pirate Beard. Much later, when Wilfre steals the Book of Life once more, the lighthouse is one of the many objects to vanish.

The lighthouse is seen again in Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter (Wii), this time as a building the Hero can traverse. Inside the lighthouse are 57 Rapo-Coins and eventually, four Trampolines, and a Vertical Platform. The lighthouse has stopped shining like it once had, and Mike had been contracted to fix it. For some reason, electricity wasn't reaching the lighthouse, so Circi suggests using Lightning Bugs from the Roab Plateaus. Mike and Circi send the Hero to the Plateaus, where they collect a Jar of Lightning Bugs. When the Hero returns, Mike hangs the jar inside the lighthouse.
Trivia[edit]
- Once created, the Lighthouse cannot be seen from the Docks.
- The lighthouse was first to disappear when Shadow consumed the Northern half of the village.
- When the Jar of Lightning Bugs is hung in the lighthouse, the lighting effect on the jar is placed at the wrong spot on the map, and it shines below where the jar is.
