Chef Cookie is an important character that appears throughout the entire Drawn to Life Series. He is the chef for Rapoville in all the games. In the original Drawn to Life, he is rescued from Banya Fields, along with his two assistants, and he lives and works at the village restaurant after it is cleared of Shadow. In the non-canon Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter (Wii), Cookie is one of the main characters to give side quests to the Hero, asking them to collect ingredients for him. In Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter for DS, he is kidnapped by the revived Wilfre and trapped in Lavasteam. In Drawn to Life: Two Realms, Cookie has one of the first Imagination Battles in the game - Scone Scarf Settlement.
Appearance[edit]
In the DS games, Cookie is an orange-furred, adult, male Raposa. He wears a green shirt with brown pants, and he is always seen with a white chef's hat and a white apron. This apron has a red stripe on the front.
In Drawn to Life: Two Realms, Cookie's appearance changes, as his fur is now yellow instead of orange. He still has a green shirt, white hat, and white apron, though the red strip has become more of a red pouch. He is also missing his pants in this appearance.
In the non-canon Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter (Wii), Cookie's appearance is more modified. He keeps his green shirt, but his fur seems to be a color between tan and orange, and he loses his pants. His apron is now red with white highlights, and his chef's hat has more red tints. Cookie also now has hyperpigmentation around his right eye.
Story[edit]
Drawn to Life[edit]
After the destruction of the Book of Life, Cookie and his assistants leave the village, searching for a better life. The three are eventually captured and imprisoned by Shadow in Banya Fields, where they stay until the Hero rescues them. When they return to the village, Cookie asks the Creator to clear the darkness around his restaurant and to design a marvelous sign to advertise its reopening.
Later in the story, Cookie is tasked with the job of baking a feast for Mari's festival. Progress is halted when a mob of hungry Raposa storm the restaurant. In Cookie's hour of need, Tubba comes to the rescue and defends the Banya. Near the end of the game, he and Isaac get into a fight over supplies, and Cookie promises to burn Isaac's next order of Banya Bread, though they seem to have made up by the credits.
Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter (Wii)[edit]

In the Wii game, Cookie helps guide the player, mainly while navigating Floating Meadows and Balancing Rock Garden. Cookie calls the Hero and Jowee to his shop before the two explore the Floating Meadows, telling them that the Windmill Blades have been stolen. The two decide to return to Eastern Winds in order to find new blades thanks to Circi's pestering. When they return with the blades, Cookie offers to bake them a cake.
Later on, Cookie asks the Hero and Jowee if they know where the wedding party was. He then remembers that the two went to the Balancing Rock Garden to find a good spot for a honeymoon. The Hero and Jowee return with the couple, and Cookie returns to making the wedding feast.
Challenges[edit]
Throughout the game, certain Raposa will give the Hero certain challenges to complete. Cookie offers the Hero some extra collectibles for six specific levels. Specifically, he asks the Hero to get him ingredients. The specific challenges are show below:

Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter[edit]
When Cookie is next seen, he is sucked into a vortex created by a revived Wilfre, right before Wilfre drains the Color from Rapoville. He, along with Farmer Brown and Count Choco, are spat out in Lavasteam and are immediately discovered by Miney and his Robosa, who puts them to work mining Banya Crystals. They are eventually rescued by the Hero and then go to Turtle Rock. On Turtle Rock, Cookie can often be seen behind the Bedroom.
Drawn to Life: Two Realms[edit]
Four years later, Cookie has created a Banya scone that Jowee finds incredibly delicious. However, Cookie begins hoarding the scones to himself and refuses to sell more. The Hero is alerted to this and is told to go fix the problem while Jowee and Mari talk about Mike's situation in the Human realm.
The Hero confronts Cookie, who attempts to play dumb before admitting that he loves his own scones too much. The Hero decides to use the Book of Imagination on him, commencing an Imagination Battle which the Hero wins. After this, Cookie decides to apologize to Jowee, giving the Hero a scone to give to him. Cookie also resolves to place Banya scones back on the menu the next day. Afterwards, Cookie asks the Hero to create him a new sign for his restaurant.

Chef Cookie's Imagination Battle in Drawn to Life: Two Realms is named Scone Scarf Settlement. It is the seventh story level in the game, and has three segments. After beating Jowee in an Imagination Battle, he admits that he was hungry because Chef Cookie stopped making Banya scones. The Hero is sent to talk to him, and uses the Book of Imagination to get him to stop hoarding the scones.

Build Mode[edit]
In Build Mode, the player is given two Flippers and an Acorn Baki. One possible solution is to place the two Flippers on opposite sides of the pit and placing the Acorn Baki on the hovering platform above the pit.

- His first name may be Fortune, as a RapoGirl calls him this when speaking to the Hero.
- However, multiple Game Design Documents throughout the series list Cookie and Fortune Cookie as separate characters, being rivals.
- It is likely that the RapoGirl's dialogue is a leftover from when Fortune Cookie was in the game.
- Although his fur is usually orange, during the Snow Fight minigame, if he is struck by a snowball his fur will turn yellow.
- This is a remnant from his original sprites, where he had yellow fur. This yellow fur was restored in Drawn to Life: Two Realms.
- Cookie does not speak, apparently lacking any dialog, immediately after NavyJ is brought to the village.
- In developer documents for Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter (Wii), Cookie is referred to with she/her pronouns multiple times. The reason for this is unknown.
- He is one of the few Raposa to not have his idle sprite replaced in Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter.
