His name is Randal, but he also goes by Randy.
He started off as Sandy's (ex)boyfriend that her parents pressured into dating. He originally was a bit of a jerk, but over time I realized that wasn't really true at all! He's actually pretty nice and caring! Although he does sometimes act a bit cocky.
Appearance
Story
So the idea was that him and Sandy had been together a few years(?) before Hunter remet Sandy. And Hunter eventually falls for her again. And uhh basically a love triangle happens oops. A bunch of stuff happens (including Hunter being heartbroken when realizing Sandy is taken), but in the end Sandy breaks up with Randal (who is equally heartbroken). And eventually Sandy and Hunter start their relationship.
That's where it ends, right? Well that used to be true. Not anymore.
At some point in their relationship, Sandy opens up to Hunter and tells him that she still thinks about Randal. And that she missed him. Hunter is sad and confused at first, but then Sandy clarifies that she still really wants to be with him. She was considering being with Hunter and Randal at the same time, and wanted the approval of both. Happily for them, they both agreed. Hunter and Randal wouldn't be more than friends, but they'd both love Sandy with all their hearts.
So that must be the end, right? Again, that used to be true! But no!!
After a while of being together, Randal manages to fall for Hunter. But he's so scared to bring his feelings into light. He's so worried that Hunter won't feel the same way (he's confident Hunter wouldn't because it took him at least 5 years to fall for Sandy, and Randal hasn't known him for that long). And Randal is scared that a confession would either cause Hunter (and possibly Sandy) to run away from him and leave forever or make things so awkward that it would completely ruin the entire relationship. He's so irrationally frightened by this that he breaks down crying when he accidentally reveals his feelings.
Hunter, after assuring him that he isn't going anywhere, confesses that he isn't sure how he feels and that he needs time to think about it. After some time, the two decide to start a relationship and see what happens. Eventually Hunter realises that he has feelings for Randal, and confesses to him.
So now the three are living together all in love with each other.
