Hunter is a raposa who wanted to be a Baki ever since he was a child. He has an overall chill personality, and appears to be lazy at times. However, he never lets that get in his way. He is a very friendly raposa who will always try to help anyone he cares about.

While he does tend to get stressed easily, he tries not to let others notice.

Appearance

Hunter is a 20 year old raposa with tan fur, and green eyes. He is is slightly shorter than average, and has slightly shorter ears.

Clothing

Casual

He wears an orange and blue striped sweater that doesn't appear to have holes for the arms. The 'sweater' makes Hunter appear much larger than he actually is. In fact, he is actually fairly thin compared to the average raposa.

He usually wears clothing underneath his sweater. Typically it's a t-shirt and pants.

Childhood Casual

As a kid, Hunter typically wore orange and light blue t-shirts along with with blue shorts.

Story

*Hunter has three different backgrounds on this page. The first one is the canon one, while the other two are much older, and are just for historical value.

Childhood

Hunter was born in the Raposa Village. He lived with his parents, and his younger sister, Polly. One day when Hunter was 6 years old, a Baki had entered the village from the woods. While many were scared or disgusted by the creature, Hunter was intrigued by it. For the rest of his childhood, he observed the enemy as closely as he could. He even snuck into the forest several times. One time, he brought his sister along with him into the Forest Gate. During their time in the forest, Polly was attacked by a Flyin' Rabbit. While she wasn't hurt, she became fascinated by the creature that attacked her. Soon afterwards, she sewed a doll that somewhat resembled the Flyin' Rabbit. Polly had this doll on her at all times since it was created. Hunter,feeling bad about the attack, swore to never take her to the forest ever again.

When Hunter was 8 years old, Shadow began to seep at the edges of the Raposa Village. During one of his visits to the Forest Gate, shadow started to grow around him. In a panic, he run deep into the woods. He had no plan and only acted on instinct at the time. He finally outran the shadow, but he couldn't go back home. Not with the shadow in the way. Scared, Hunter hugged his knees, and cried. He seemingly had no way to survive in the soon to be dark forest. When he opened his eyes, he saw a baki staring back at him. The baki was a member of a baki tribe. The baki saved Hunter's life. The tribe made Hunter a sweater as a sign that he was one of them. Hunter wears this sweater to this day in respect for his Baki family. Hunter spent the rest of his childhood as a 'Baki'.

After Drawn to Life

While the Baki were happy that the shadow disappeared, Hunter wanted to return to the village and finally see his family again. One night, Hunter found his way back to his old home. When he entered the house, he found nobody was home. Noting that his sister's doll wasn't there, he looked to see if his family was elsewhere in the village, but they weren't there. On further inspection, he saw that some other items were missing from the house. They weren't valuable items a robber would take, but instead, items such as clothing and food. His family must've left the village after he disappeared. He wondered what became of them. Hopefully they found a new home where they can live happily. As much as he tried not to, he couldn't help but blame himself. After all, he was the one that vanished never to be seen again. In doubt, he reminded himself that there was no actual proof his family... died. He then swore that he would spend the rest of his life looking for them.

The Bongo

One day, Hunter was wandering in the woods as usual, when he heard something behind him. He turned around when a Flyin' Rabbit jumped out at him. Luckly, Hunter dodged the attack in time. Hunter then ran and hid behind a nearby tree and observed the rabbit. He had heard of Flying Rabbits before, but this one was different. It was not only different visually, but it also appeared to be handicapped. Hunter knew how dangerous these creatures were, but he still stood there. Besides, it wasn't doing anything other than staring back at him anyway. When Hunter looked at the rabbit, all he could think of was Polly. She would carry her doll around with her no matter where she went. And this creature standing before Hunter looked exactly like that doll. Hunter wasn't sure if what he was seeing was even real, and decided to call out to the thing. 'What was his name...? Bongo! It was Bongo!' Hunter then finally called out to the rabbit. "Bongo? You're... alive?!" The creature didn't respond. Hunter, realizing how ridiculous he sounded, said, "Oh no... I must be dreaming again... or maybe I'm hallucinating. Ugh... I'm not sure... Umm.. Listen. It's me. Hunter. Do... do you know where Polly is? If anyone would know... it's you." Hunter, unsure of what he saw, stared at the vision, and began to walk away.

It was then that Hunter heard Polly's voice yell the word "wait". Recognizing the voice, Hunter turned around and looked at the Rabbit. Bongo stared into Hunter's face, and said, "I know where Polly is. I think.. she's me." Hunter, filled with all sorts of emotion, picked up Bongo, and hugged him tight.

Now

After that moment in the woods, Bongo and Hunter caught up with each other, and told every story they could recall. They then decided to travel together, and try to solve the mysteries in their path. All the while, bonding together.

Meet Hunter. He always wanted to be a Baki since he was a little RapoKid. Dispite his name, he would never hurt a fly. He used to live in the Raposa Village, but ever since shadow started to cover the village, he ran away into the nearest forest saying he will live with the Baki. Even after the shadow was cleared, Hunter never came back. However, there have been several sightings of him in Banya Feild. And after every sighting, a stalk or two of Banya would be reported missing.

Hunter always wanted to be a Baki since he was a little RapoKid. He observed them closely after one entered his old village. Despite his name, he would never hurt a fly. He always does his best to protect his friends. Even if he seems to act lazy at times. He used to live in the Raposa Village, but ever since shadow started to cover the village, he ran away into the nearest forest to live with the Baki. He then lived with a wild tribe of Baki for the next few years. He one day came across BenDingo, who was building a new village. Hunter accepted BenDingo's offer to move into the village. He occasionally leaves the village to collect resources, or even visit his Baki family.

  • He doesn't hate the sun, but he just doesn't like too much heat.
    • Since he gets hot fast in his outfit, staying out of the sun can be critical.
• Hunter often refers to his outfit as a 'scarf'.
• Hunter's sister and parents were originally based on the family shown leaving Rapoville during the Wilfre backstory flashback in the first game.
