Cecil's Militia is a group created by GuyThatExists that appears in the short story Blank Slates 3. It is formed in the wake of Tombstone's attack on the Drawn to Life Village, and is one of the groups that visits the Baki Temple. There, they are joined by the Tree King, who helps them fight Tombstone. The group's current status is unknown.
Story[edit]
Blank Slates 3[edit]
After the Drawn to Life Village is captured by Tombstone, Cecil starts a militia with other residents from the village. He presents the militia to Repair Guy, Fox, and Pot, though they are not receptive to the group. They stay in the Two Realms Plains while Tombstone attacks the Shadow Village, and they are invited to explore the Baki Temple with Crawler's LARPing Group.
When they arrive at the Temple, Cecil's Militia discover the Tree King's extra bodies, and they attempt to fight the Tree King when he arrives. However, after a failed confrontation, Cecil reluctantly allows the Tree King to join his militia. When the militia arrives at the Guardians' HQ, they start planning to fight Tombstone's final form. Most of the militia is ejected into canon by Temte Mapleleaf after Tombstone traps them, while the Tree King fights Tombstone's final form and is killed.

Originally a double agent sent by the Five Aldarks to sabotage the group, he becomes a genuine member after Tombstone absorbs the Shadow Village. | Rusty | Rusty is a member of the militia and the self-proclaimed Hero of the Meadow Gate. He is much less courageous than he lets on, and he briefly leaves the militia when the Tree King joins, though he returns after a heart-to-heart with Pot. |
| Pet | Pet is a member of the militia and a loyal friend to Rusty. It is the most eager member of the militia, letting them into the Baki Temple and uncovering the Tree King's final form. It briefly leaves the militia with Rusty, though it returns with him after a heart-to-heart with Pot. |

| Mew Pod | Mew Pod was a member of the militia, carrying many weapons and other items in their pitcher plant. They never intentionally left the militia, but left to chase after Racoomie when he left. They were nearly killed by Goldie but was rescued by Fiora and Stocking before ascending to the Developer's Grove, where they are sent into canon by Eric Kozlowsky. |
| Tree King | The Tree King was a member of the militia while inhabiting his final few bodies. He forced himself into the group after fighting Cecil, Shadokomo, Rusty, and Pet, and he fought with them until the militia was sent into canon. In his final body, he fought against Tombstone's final form but was absorbed, killing him. |
Trivia[edit]
- Mew Pod is the only member of the militia to leave the group and still be alive.
- In early drafts of Blank Slates 3, every member of the militia was intended to be absorbed by Tombstone.
