–Droogle Countess
Ingrid, also known as the Droogle Countess, is a Droogle created by GuyThatExists based on a cut enemy from a beta version of Drawn to Life. She appears in the short stories Blank Slates 3 as a secondary protagonist.
After the disappearance of her husband, the Droogle Leader, the Droogle Countess became the leader of the Droogle army, leading them against the Tree King and Tombstone. When the Droogle Leader returns, she reunites with him and lets him lead the army again, joining him as they travel throughout The Void during Tombstone's attacks. At the end of the final fight against Tombstone, the Droogle Countess is ejected into canon by Temte Mapleleaf, ending up outside Deadwood.
Appearance[edit]
The Droogle Countess is a tan, dog-like Droogle with a rectangular head. She wears a green tunic with red trimmings near the bottom, and she has a black and silver witches hat. She carries her bow with her at all times.
Story[edit]
Blank Slates[edit]
Though she does not appear in Blank Slates, it can be assumed that the Droogle Countess was married to the Droogle Leader at this point and worked with him to overthrow the developers. She would survive the fight with Jinxy and the Droogle Killer and would eventually relocate to the Drawn to Life Village. Some time before Blank Slates 3, the Droogle Countess and the other Droogles would have a funeral for the missing Droogle Leader, and the Countess would take over as the leader of the Droogle army.
Blank Slates 3[edit]
The Droogle Countess is first seen rallying the troops when Tombstone erupts from the Drawn to Life Village. She sends them into battle to attack Tombstone, just like they had in the previous fight against the Jungle Creature two years prior. However, when the Droogle Killer is defeated and absorbed by Tombstone, the Countess orders the troops to evacuate the village, and she watches as the other fighters take out Tombstone. From the outskirts of the village, she also watches Gingerfre and his Shadow army revive Tombstone, forcing them all to evacuate to the Two Realms Plains while Tombstone absorbs the Village.
In the Plains, the Countess reunites with the Droogle Leader, who had returned to The Void two years prior but kept his return a secret. The two of them reunite and discuss the whereabouts of his sword and where he hid in canon after being threatened by Salem Rose. Mill joins the conversation and chastises the Leader's decisions, but the Countess agrees to keep his secret and let him lead the Droogle army once more, giving him a non-magical sword to fight with.
They are next seen when Tombstone attacks the Shadow Village, and the Countess lets the Leader rally the troops for the fight. As he prepares to send them into battle, the Countess shoots an arrow into the sky, and when it lands, the army charges Tombstone. After the battle, the Droogle Countess and Droogle Leader both assist Sandal and Abyss in stealing Shadow from Tombstone and moving the bodies of deceased Droogles out of Tombstone's puddle. However, when the Five Aldarks enact their plan to revive Tombstone, the Droogle Countess calls for the army to retreat.
After the fight, the Countess watches with the other surviving fighters as Tombstone absorbs the Village, and she laments that they had won twice, but had their efforts thwarted. Willham then appears behind the group, informing them that since Tombstone had taken the powers of a Screener, it was nearly impossible to defeat it now. The group returns to the Guardian's HQ, where the Countess and Leader listen to Willham explain the history behind Monk and the Four Guardians. When Sorcerer and Pot arrive, telling everyone that the villages were still in tact, the Countess decides to head to the Wii Village with them to have the Droogle army fit for Hans' God Ray Armor.
When the Droogle army, Shadow army, LARPing Group, and Cecil's Militia arrive at the Baki Temple in the Wii Village, the Droogle Countess elects to stay outside with the Droogle Leader, who still wants to prove that he is worthy of leading the Droogle army. As the groups prepare to return to the HQ, now wearing God Ray Armor from Hans, the Countess, Leader, Sorcerer, and Abyss all discuss how and why the Tree King would have joined Cecil's Militia, and they begin planning for how to fight back against him. As they approach the HQ, the Tree King is engaged by the people already there, so the Countess, alongside her friends, fight the Tree King with them, defeated his current body.
As the remaining fighters in The Void converge on the HQ once more, the Tree King returns in his new body, and the Countess begrudgingly accepts that the Tree King had assets that would be valuable in the fight. However, as Tombstone suddenly takes over the Two Realms Plains in the distance, the Countess watches as the Droogle army begins to dwindle in size, with many of them ascending into the Developer's Grove. With the remaining group of fighters, everyone mobilizes to the Plains bubble as Tombstone emerges, and watches as it summons the bodies of Drakon and Red Dragon from the other bubbles. The Droogle Countess, Droogle Leader, and the rest of the Droogle army decide to stay and fight the main body.
During the final fight against Tombstone, the Droogle Countess uses her God Ray Armor to shoot God Ray Arrows into Tombstone's body, causing Tombstone to swing the Droogle Killer's skeleton towards the Droogle army. The skeleton is deflected by the combined efforts of SuperRapo, Apprentice, and Heathers, saving them. Near the end of the fight, as Tombstone grows more powerful, Temte Mapleleaf uses her abilities to eject all the fighters into canon, including the Droogle Countess.
The Droogle Countess, alongside the Droogle Leader and Droogle army, all appear outside the deceased Deadwood, where they meet Samuel and Robigo. The Countess also watches as her husband falls to the ground, the weight of his previous actions in canon - informing Deadwood and Samuel of The Void - finally hitting him, so she runs up to comfort him.
