Yulshade is a village created by GuyThatExists that appears in the short stories Blank Slates 3 as a cameo and The 35 as a recurring location. Located in the forests far outside Belleview, Yulshade was created by Aldark, Nilamore, Hemithere, and Flick to be a home for the Shadows abandoned in the Human realm.
Appearance[edit]
Yulshade is a typical forest, though Shadow has infected the flora in the area. Early in its life, there were no real locations in the village, but as it expanded, buildings and flora of note began to appear.
Story[edit]
The 35[edit]
Creation[edit]
In 2012, after Aldark's defeat at the hands of the Hero, he hobbled into Olympic National Forest, where he met Hemithere, Nilamore, and Flick, who all convince him to regroup the Shadows, creating Yulshade where they stood.
Aldark's Leave[edit]
In 2015, Aldark decides that he would travel the world to find all the missing Shadows, leaving Nilamore in charge of the village. At this point, the village has grown quite large.
Blank Slates 3[edit]
After being ejected from The Void and the Developer's Grove, a cluster of Shadows, led by Abyss and Sandal appear in Yulshade and are met by Flick, who tells them the story of Aldark's takeover of Belleview.
