Ocean is a Raposa adapted by GuyThatExists that appears in the short stories The Lavasteam Chronicles Part One and The Lavasteam Chronicles Part Three as a minor character, and The Lavasteam Chronicles Part Two as a main character. She also appears in The 35 as a character in 3 out of 105 segments. She also retroactively appears in the original Drawn to Life. She is a part of Project Overhaul, filling the role of Galileo's daughter.
After surviving Wilfre's first attack, Ocean and her mother Oma would be kidnapped by Wilfre at the start of his second attack, dumping them in Ex-Isle. Over the weeks, they build rapport with the exiles and guards, and are eventually saved by Galileo, though the three of them are sent away to the Hall of Darkness. After being rescued from there, they return to Rapoville, where they continue to live.
A year later, Ocean makes new friends and hangs out with them, though she is later bedridden by Fext calling out to her. After this, she is roped into a plan to stop Allight, though she is eventually enthralled. After being freed by Fext, she and Harsonist free the rest of the enthralled villagers and reunite with their friends and families. Even later, after Jowee and Mari separate, Ocean joins Jowee on his trip across the ocean, being kidnapped along with his crew, befriending Wilfre while captive.
Appearance[edit]
Ocean is a RapoGirl with long, straight, brown, shoulder-length hair and orange fur. She has thick brown eyebrows, a smattering of brown freckles on her face, and brown-amber eyes. Ocean wears a knee-length white dress with white lace trimming. In addition, she sports a pair of brown boots.
Story[edit]
Drawn to Life[edit]
Ocean and her family are kidnapped during Wilfre's first attack and kept in Star Forest until they are rescued by the Hero. After returning to the village, Ocean moves back into the Village Observatory with her family.
The Lavasteam Chronicles Part Two[edit]
First Kidnapping[edit]
Ocean is first seen hiding with her mother Oma after Wilfre disguised himself as Galileo to kidnap them. When the real Galileo comes to rescue them, they are hesitant, but eventually leave with him, running for the Bane of Kings. However, Wilfre opens a portal behind them, sucking up Oma and Ocean, along with some luggage. The two of them are dumped in a lower level of Ex-Isle, the island for exiled citizens of Watersong and Lavasteam, and are quickly found by Kacha, Byetts, and Robigo. Elodie, a guard, comes down to the room after hearing the five of them talk, and the group goes upstairs for breakfast.
Life on Ex-Isle[edit]
Eventually, Terra, another guard, announces to the group that because Oma and Ocean appeared, the serving size had been cut in half. Oma tries to explain their situation to Terra, but he refuses to listen to them. While eating breakfast, Ocean asks Kacha if Wilfre had kidnapped her as well, and Kacha explains how she became an exile. Overhearing her story, Terra walks back to the group and calls Oma and Ocean into his office to discuss their situation, but he doesn't file their paperwork.
One week later, Ocean and Byetts give Oma a portrait of the three of them, along with Robigo, Kacha, and a creature later revealed to be Fext. Later, Kacha runs up to the group with news about Miney's new advisor - Salem, calling him weird looking, but she runs off as Elodie and another guard, Mog, chase her down. Byetts explains the recent history of Lavasteam to Oma and Ocean, but Ocean gets distracted by Robigo. Ocean asks if Robigo knew Byetts before arriving on Ex-Isle, which Robigo denies, and Robigo explains how she was exiled to Ocean. After the story, the group begin to theorize why Wilfre might be attacking the Raposa, and Ocean asks if Wilfre would ever find them on the island - something Oma states could never happen.
The next week, Ocean witnesses a new exile, Colepere, snap at Robigo after she pokes fun at him. Before she can do anything however, Salem appears in the mess hall and announces that he would be conducting interviews with some of the exiles throughout the day. Ocean sits down for breakfast, where she hears about Salem's actions in Watersong from Colepere. After Robigo is called for her interview, Colepere makes a strong remark to Ocean, and Oma asks him to not use any vulgar language in front of her. Colepere apologizes, and Ocean eventually leaves with Oma to go join a yoga session with other exiles.
Some time later, both Oma and Ocean are called in for an interview with Salem. During their interview, Oma explains that they were captured by Wilfre and sent to the island, so Salem sends them out since he technically had no jurisdiction over them. Salem sends them out and they return to their yoga session. Later in the day, Ocean searches for Robigo with Oma, Kacha, Byetts, Colepere, and Elodie, and she eventually finds her in her room with Fext. Robigo tries to shoo Ocean away from Fext, but Fext swoops towards both of them, only hiding Ocean from view. Ocean watches as Salem appears and kidnaps Robigo, shedding his disguise and revealing himself as Wilfre. Ocean begins to cry, and she is consoled by Oma for the night.
A week later, Ocean and Oma are standing on the deck when Ocean notices Heather's Pendant floating in the water near them. They both look up and see Turtle Rock moving in the distance, becoming hopeful that Galileo would come for them soon. The two of them return to the mess hall and tell the others that Galileo would be coming soon, upsetting the group. Oma promises that the group would be able to leave with them, and Colepere asks how they knew Galileo would come. Oma explains the pendant, and Byetts gives them a lesson on Shadite, revealing that the pendant wouldn't lead anyone to the island since it had already floated by. Ocean then asks Byetts how he was exiled, and after listening, Ocean asks if Oma would ever abandon her. Oma comforts her daughter, but suddenly, the mess hall is swarmed by Wilfre and his Ameba.
Reuniting with Galileo[edit]
The group, along with Elodie, Terra, Mog, and a few other guards and exiles, hide behind a table, and Kacha tells Oma and Ocean to go back to their rooms where they'd be safe. The two comply, but Wilfre catches them about to leave and sends them through a portal to the Hall of Darkness. In the Colorless hall, Oma and Ocean make a fort for themselves out of a table, but this fort is soon dismantled by Galileo, who Wilfre had sent through a portal to join them. The three of them embrace and share their stories when the Creator restores the color of the realm. Galileo tries to break a wall down to escape, but he is unable to force it down. However, the group is saved by Eeny and Puck, who offer to take the family back to Rapoville on their ship, Baki Beard's Revenge.
On the way home, the group makes a pit stop at Ex-Isle to pick up Kacha, Byetts, Colepere, and Elodie mere seconds before Allight enthralls the island.
The Lavasteam Chronicles Part Three[edit]
Relaxing at Home[edit]
Ocean is next seen a year later, bringing her parents the mail, including a letter from Byetts, containing a picture of the group that set sail from Ex-Isle previously. Oma asks her to go to Isaac's Shop to purchase a picture frame for the portrait, so she leaves to go buy one. After buying the frame from Stampy, Ocean runs into her friends in the woods, so she joins them in looking for a small rat. However, she scares Kyren on accident, which scares the rat away. As Kyren, Silas, and Mutt joke and argue about Kyren's jumpiness, Ocean checks in on Banny, who was still looking for the rat. Banny points out where the rat is hiding, and Ocean scoops it up, giving it to Kyren, who names it Stumps.
Silas and Mutt split off from the group, leaving Ocean, Kyren, and Banny to hang out for the rest of the day. After hearing her mom call her home for dinner, Ocean returns home and learns that Kacha, Elodie, Byetts, and Colepere would be joining them for dinner. Just then, the four of them arrive, and Ocean happily greets them. However, as she is eating, Fext attempts to reach out to her from Ex-Isle, causing both of them to experience a flood of information and collapse to the ground. When Ocean comes to, Elodie asks her how she was feeling. She explains that she felt fine, just needing water, and that she saw a burst of light and ribbons before passing out.
Enthralled by Allight[edit]
The next day, Ocean is bedridden, but watches as the Baki Beard's Revenge docks at Rapoville with Eeny and Puck. Oma and Galileo ask if she was able to welcome them at the Docks, and Ocean agrees to try. When they arrive at the docks, Eeny and Puck tell them about Allight's campaign in Watersong and ask to summon a Hero. As they head to Creation Hall, Pirate Beard invites Ocean and her family on their trip to Watersong, which they accept. After both ships are fully boarded, they set sail for Watersong. However, when they arrive, they allow Allight and her thralls to board their ships, and she enthralls most of the passengers, including Ocean.
Now enthralled, Ocean and the other thralls enter Watersong and being mingling with each other, constantly ecstatic about everything. After Fext is expelled from Allight's body, they attempt to make contact with Ocean, but cannot due to Allight's enthrallment. Some time later, Fext tries once more to reach out to Ocean, this time successfully penetrating Allight's influence and freeing her. When Harsonist jumps into their conversation, Ocean looks at him, causing the two of them to get woozy and Fext makes contact with Harsonist through Ocean, freeing him as well. Fext then tells Ocean to go find Color around Watersong and use it to save the other thralls, and to bring Harsonist with her. They also thank Ocean for telling everyone about them, and Ocean starts her mission.
Heading to Lavasteam[edit]
After saving the Watersong residents and visitors, the visitors all boarded the Bane of Kings and set sail to Lavasteam, where the final battle with Allight was raging. As they arrive, Oma takes Ocean below deck to keep them safe, though Fext calls out to Ocean once more, telling her that they would have to sacrifice themself to defeat Allight and that they wanted to say goodbye. Ocean tearfully begs Fext not to sacrifice themself as Fext forces themself onto Allight and kills them both. After the fight, Ocean and her family meet back up with the Rapoville children, and Ocean mourns Fext's sacrifice. A week later, Ocean is the ring bearer at Eeny and Puck's wedding in Rapocity.
The 35[edit]
2021[edit]
Year later, Ocean joins Mutt, Jowee, and Indee on a trip on Turtle Rock across the Klidny Ocean. As they prepare to set sail from Rapoville, Ocean, Mutt, and Indee convince Jowee to allow Chuck, Steven, and Angelia on their expedition. As Jowee and Indee prepare the ship afterwards, Ocean and Mutt theorize about Steven's identity as Wilfre. Near the tail end of 2023, Ocean would be kidnapped with the rest of Jowee's crew.
2025[edit]
After a little over a year of being kidnapped, Ocean and the crew are returned to Turtle Rock by Aeneas to be moved to a new location. While waiting, she watches Wilfre fight and kill Aeneas. The group then returns home and Ocean reunites with her family.

Trivia[edit]
- Disregarding Oma, Pouches, and Kyren, as they were all grandfathered into the project through Drawn to Life: Two Realms, Ocean was the first Project Overhaul Raposa to be a main character in a short story.
