–Eric Kozlowsky
Eric Kozlowsky, also known as Koz, is a Developer Avatar created by GuyThatExists based on the Environment Artist of the same name. He appears in the short story Blank Slates 3 as a supporting character.
He was called to the Developer's Grove by Jospeh Tringali in hopes of stopping the Jungle Creature, which Koz designed. Koz tells him that the Jungle Creature had adapted to The Void and that letting The Void go on wasn't a smart move. Later, during Goldie's attack on the Grove, Koz used the Stylus to send the fighters to safety, which happened to be canon. He is later sent into Belleview by Joe, where he meets up with David Franco and Mike.
Appearance[edit]
Koz is a tall human with short brown hair and a goatee. He wears a grey hoodie, blue jeans, and black shoes.
Story[edit]
Blank Slates 3[edit]
Koz is first seen after Joseph Tringali calls him into the Developer's Grove, and he immediatley walks into the Control Booth to find the Jungle Creature's files in the directory. When he sees the files duplicating throughout the system, he asks how that happened, and Joe tells him that they had populated The Void, angering Koz. After calming down, he assures Joe that all that remained of the Jungle Creature was offshoots, and asks not to be deactivated. However, before they can continue, GenericChallenge appears from the Wishing Well.
After dragging GenericChallenge, William, and Wilfred into the Control Booth, Koz and Joe interrogate them, and Koz learns that GenericChallenge had been bringing people and objects into canon, angering Koz again. When Repair Guy enters the Booth, Koz mistakes him for Rocko and storms out. After Joe kicks all the Raposa out of the Booth, Koz walks back in to talk with him and closes the blinds inside.
While talking with Joe, Koz notices Hybrid and GenericChallenge preparing to fight, he uses the loudspeaker to tall them that if they fought, he would delete them himself. When Repair Guy notices Tombstone's Droogle army invading the Grove, so he tries to get the developer's attention, but they both shout at him to leave. After their conversation, Koz opens the blinds to see the Droogle army fighting with The Void's refugees. After brainstorming for a bit, Joe gives Koz the Stylus.
As Koz runs through the Grove, he writes "Safety, without the Jungle Creature’s influence" on each of them, not fully understanding the Stylus' powers. After sending many of the refugees away and avoiding an ambush from Goldie, he returns to Joe, who tells him that simply writing "safe" on the remaining refugees would work. Koz returns to the field, where he learns from Hybrid that the only safe place for the refugees was canon, and that all the other refugees were already in canon. Begrudgingly, Koz sends both GenericChallenge and Hybrid into canon and returns to the Booth.
After telling Joe that all the refugees had been sent into canon, Joe reveals that he knew, and that sending them to canon was always his intent. Koz is confused, but before he can understand, Joe sends Koz into canon as well. Koz arrives in Belleview in 2042, and he wanders into Franco Key's record store, where he meets up with Nolan, GenericChallenge, and Franco Key, telling them all that the Grove was gone. Before anyone can remark on this, Mike and his son Nolan Row walk into the store, so Koz, Franco, and Mike begin discussing Aly's whereabouts.
