Tree King

The Tree King's Den is a location created by GuyThatExits that appears in the short story Blank Slates 3. At the end of each of the Tree King's lives, he is revived in this room, taking up one of his spare bodies. During his imprisonment, he began excavating his ninth life, which was meant to be his most powerful form. After using up his first eight lives, his ninth life erupted from the Baki Temple, destroying his den.

The Tree King's Den is a large, dark room with eight massive statues of the Tree King, each resting on a pedestal. Underneath the den is a large cave where the Tree King's ninth body is petrified, only illuminated by its God Ray Crown.

Blank Slates 3[edit]

The Tree King's Den is first seen when Tombstone begins attacking, and the Tree King, in his fourth body, discovers a crack in his den, revealing his ninth body. Over the next couple of hours, the Tree King begins excavating the room to reveal this body.

Eventually, when Cecil's Militia break into the Baki Temple, they stumble upon the Tree King's Den and get into a fight with the Tree King, who eventually explains himself, reveals his ninth body to them, and joins their group. With ever new death and body the Tree King inhabits, more and more of the pedestals are emptied, and the crack in the room grows larger and larger

When entering his ninth body, the Tree King is forced to burrow his way through the Temple to escape into The Void, destroying his den and most of the Temple in the process.
