Hans is a Raposa adapted by GuyThatExists that appears in the short stories Blank Slates and Blank Slates 2 as a minor character and in Blank Slates 3 as a supporting character. He lives in the Wii Village and has a chain of tailor shops set up in every village in The Void. During Tombstone's attack, Hans began making God Ray armor for the fighters, though he was ejected into canon by Temte Mapleleaf during the final fight with Tombstone.

Appearance

Hans takes the appearance of a short Raposa with long ears. He has no unique features other than his lack of color.

Story

Before Blank Slates

After being brought to life by Shadow Mari, Hans, clinging onto his Canon Memories, makes himself a coat, which prompted other people to ask for new clothes. Hans complies and opens up his first shop in The Next Chapter Village, eventually becoming friends with Fiora.

Blank Slates

Hans is first seen when Fiora, Lambert, Nolan, and Mayo arrive outside his shop. He brings Fiora inside and helps make her a dress for Alana. The page of The Next Chapter Village suddenly begins to turn, but as the group escapes the page in the nick of time, they notice Crawler and his army approach the group. Before a fight can break out however, Willham sweeps over the group, erasing the village along with Hans.

Eventually, Shadow Mari sends beams of Shadow through The Void again, bringing Hans back to life.

Blank Slates 2

Two years later, while walking with Zak, Mac, and their other friend Doug outside the Guardians' HQ, they watch as Doug is suddenly possessed by Flash, killing him and creating Mill. The three of them try to deal with Mill's ramblings, but they are unable to help him. Meanwhile, Rocko, Nolan, Fiora, Sandal, and Lambert arrive at the HQ and help guide the group through Mill's ramblings. Mill then leads the group inside to find the other three Guardians.

Mill tasks Hans, Zak, and Mac to explore the Two Realms Plains in hopes of finding Hose. The three of them leave to explore the plains, where they find Apprentice, Sorcerer, SuperRapo, and Violet. The two groups join together to search for Hose, unaware that Violet was Hose's new form.

After some time, they are joined by Gingerfre and Red Dragon, who reveal the Tree King's plan to the group. Violet leaves and suddenly, beams of Shadow and Color sent by the Jungle Creature land in the plains, reviving many Shadow and Ink creatures. Later, when the Shadow is transformed into the Shadow Squid, Hans, Zak, and Mac escape the battle.

Blank Slates 3

Hans is next seen a few years later after Tombstone attacks and envelopes the Drawn to Life Village. After Jinxy announces that the villagers of the Wii Village needed to evacuate The Void, Hans asks for Jinxy's Mask to imbue it with God Rays, which Hans had discovered recently. After successfully adding God Rays to Jinxy's Mask, Hans calls Jinxy to his shop.

While on the phone with Jinxy, Hans and Jinxy discuss their Canon Memories, with Hans revealing that he had memories of time abandoned in the Icy Wastes and being attacked by Circi's Shadow monsters. He then asks Jinxy about his Canon Memories, and by the time Jinxy finishes talking and arrives at Hans' shop, his mask is ready. Hans returns Jinxy's Mask and watches him put it on, imbuing the rest of Jinxy's arsenal with God Rays.

Later, after Tombstone takes over the Shadow Village, when Alme Palmette and Heathers are leaving the Template House for good, Hans catches them and brings them to his workshop, showing them the many sets of God Ray armor he had been making. He tells them that he wants to hand them out to many of the other fighters left in The Void, giving Alme and Heathers a pair to start. He also gives them a God Ray Sword and God Ray Mallet respectively, and a pair of God Ray Glasses and a God Ray Earring intended for Willham and Shadow Mari. As he sends them away, he asks them to send any other fighters his way so he can give them armor.

Some time later, when the Droogle army, Shadow army, LARPers, and Cecil's Militia make their way to the Wii Village, Hans was reading The Wii Villager's Journal as more armor is imbued with God Rays. When he sees them coming closer to the Village, he jumps into gear and begins mass producing God Ray Armor and God Ray Charms for the armies. While some of these groups enter the Baki Temple, the rest are given some form of God Ray protections, and Hans joins them on their journey back to the Guardians' HQ.

When the fighters all converge back on the HQ, Shadow Mari asks Hans if he could make specially fit armor for the final few fighters that don't have any. He agrees, but tells her that he only has enough metal for weapons and charms. Jinxy, Abyss and the Shadow army, and Fox all decide to go with him to offer protection. This group then returns to the Wii Village, and when they arrive he and Fox put on his final two Raposa-fit God Ray chestplates. Around this time, Tombstone summons Drakon's body from the Drawn to Life Village bubble, which begins attacking Abyss, the Shadows, and a reincarnated Tree King.

Hans, Jinxy, and Fox gather the rest of the God Ray Charms Hans had made, and they all run back to the HQ. When they arrive, they start handing out the charms to the fighters. Eventually, both Drakon's corpse and Red Dragon's corpse are defeated and Tombstone grows restless, forcing Temte Mapleleaf to eject the majority of the fighters, including Hans, into canon, though Hans' current whereabouts are unknown.

I made myself a rather stylish coat, and then people started asking me for coats, so I started a shop. I’ll always say that Alana’s dress is my magnum opus though. It made it into a game!” –Hans “What about you Jinxy? Why are you fighting like this?” –Hans “Well, we only have one Fox, and he was an enemy.” –Hans “Whatever your purpose was, you’re a damn good mayor.” –Hans “Those beams are called God Rays. They repel Shadows and boost the Hero’s attacks, but just like you and me, they ended up here. And honestly, here isn’t so bad. Let’s beat the shit out of Tombstone, okay?” –Hans “Hey guys! Don’t go yet!” –Hans “You see what happened at the Shadow Village?” –Hans “I have something that might help you guys stop Tombstone for good. Third time’s the charm, you know? I already gave Jinxy a set, but I think everyone should have one at this rate. Come on, let’s go try ‘em outside!” –Hans “Well, the armor itself won’t do much except for keeping you safe. To channel the God Rays though, you’ll need these. These’ll really bump up your attack. If you guys teamed up with Jinxy, Tombstone would be gone in a snap.” –Hans “Oh hey, before you guys head wherever you’re going, can I ask you to do me a favor? Give these to Willham and Shadow Mari if you run into them.” –Hans “No, but if you run into the mayors, or anyone else still fighting Tombstone, send em here so I can give them their own sets of armor.” –Hans “It’s views like this that make The Void worth saving.” –Hans “Oh… oh my… … Armor! They need armor!” –Hans “I have two Raposa chestplates ready to go. With the metal I have right now, I can make some weapons, but that’s about it.” –Hans “Can I have a few people come with me? If Tombstone shows up while I’m working, I don’t want to be in the village alone.” –Hans “That should be enough for me. Thank you all.” –Hans “This should be more than enough for everyone.
