The production was well received by the Raposa of Rapocity, helping rejuvenate Mann Theatre after Wilfre's first attack. Wilfre himself attended a showing of the production, inspiring him to adopt the persona of Salem in Watersong and Lavasteam during his second attack.

  • The Shadow of the Opera was inspired by the real world musical, The Phantom of the Opera.
    • It is unknown if this production follows the same plot as The Phantom of the Opera or not, but it can be assumed that it loosely follows it.
  • Puck was seen wearing Salem's mask and cape when Eeny first found him in Rapocity.
