Latries is a character that appears in a flashback in The Lavasteam Chronicles Part Two. She is the mother of Byetts, and a former member of the Lavasteam Royal Guard. She frames him for the murder of Queen Letit, forcing him into a life on Ex-Isle.
Appearance
Latries' appearance is currently unknown, although it is known that she has orange fur and grey hair. It is also assumed that she wears some armor and a helmet.
Story
At some point in her life, Letit married Shep and had a son, Byetts.
Later in her life, she joins Lavasteam's Royal Guard, quickly moving through the ranks. She accompanied Queen Letit and Kacha to arrest Robigo, her mother. When Byetts came out to Latries, she gets upset with him, calling him her "beautiful daughter," and refusing to call him anything but Jane. She eventually frames Byetts for the death of Letit, hoping that time on Ex-Isle would "fix him." When she is found out, she was dishonorably discharged from the guard.
