Ink is a special subset of Shadow that has been combined with Color in a special manner. Ink can primarily be found in Shadow City and The Void.
Story[edit]
Ink was first created in Shadow City's Ink Factory, and it was subsequently produced by Athys near and after her death. When the Hero defeated Wilfre and Athys, shutting down the Ink Factory for good, Circi began following Athys's posthumous orders, restarting the Ink Factory and producing Wilfre's Bad Ink, which would later go on to briefly resurrect Boss.
In The Void, Ink is just as prominent as Shadow, if not more prominent, and it is a primary faction of Shadow Mari's army. Most of the Ink creatuers that were created were trapped in the Shadow Hole for two years. They were eventually freed by the Jungle Creature, returning both Ink and Shadow creatures to a normal life. These two groups would soon go on to found the Shadow Village.
