I am excited to say that Mr. Robert Row has joined me on my trip home and will be spending this week in Rapoville!

Bavel

Robert Row is a Human created by GuyThatExists that appears in the short story Bavel's Diary as a main character. He was a member of Michael Simmons' wagon train from Kansas City to New Market and was one of the first settlers of the area. Eventually, he would meet Bavel, a Raposa from another realm, who he would house. When Bavel returned to the Raposa realm, Robert would come with him, learning about Raposa culture and history, eventually returning home and naming his son Bavel Row in honor of his new friend.

Before Bavel's Diary[edit]

Robert's early life is currently unknown, though it is known his father was not present in his life. He would eventually marry Isabelle and join a wagon train lead by Michael Simmons out of Kansas City. When the train ended at New Market, Robert would help settle the area, though he began to feel homesick, so he and Isabelle decided to have a child.

Bavel's Diary[edit]

Bavel first mentions Robert after traveling between realms using the Book of Imagination. After being threatened at first, Robert stood up for Bavel after hearing Bavel's words. Robert would then invite Bavel into his home for his stay. Throughout the next week, Robert and Bavel would exchange stories and become friends, prompting Robert to ask to join Bavel back in Rapoville. In the Raposa realm, Robert would meet Bavel's family and would begin learning about Rust City from Athys. Over the next few days, Robert would visit Snowy-Snow Mountain with Frostwind, Rapocity with Ibrahim, and the Starlite Works with Elkanah.

While in the Starlite Works, Robert and Bavel would visit Deadwood, who requested information from Robert about New Market. After this, the two of them would be brought into Deadwood's trunk, and Robert began telling Deadwood about his fears of being a father. Bavel, not an active part of the conversation, would then decide to use the Book of Imagination on Robert, entering an Imagination Battle with him. After completing the battle, Robert began to feel more confident, and the two returned to Rapoville. At the end of the week, Robert would return to New Market, where his son had just been born. In honor of Bavel, Robert and Isabelle decide to name their son Bavel Row.

After Bavel's Diary[edit]

An unknown amount of time later, Robert would pass away. According to Mari's footnotes in her transcription of Bavel's Diary, she deduces that Robert could potentially be an ancestor of Mike and Heather, though she is unable to contact them to confirm this.

BoIopen.png Imagination Battle[edit]

Being a father is nothing to worry about! Help Robert calm his nerves.

–Level Description

Robert Row's Imagination Battle in Bavel's Diary is named Fatherhood's First Time Frights. It is the third Imagination Battle that Bavel traverses in the story and has four segments. A few months after completing the World Gate Project, Bavel traversed into the Human realm and met Robert Row. After a week in the Human realm, Bavel and Robert came to Rapoville, where Bavel decided to traverse Robert's mind to help ease his concerns of fatherhood.
