Story
Drawn to Life
In Drawn to Life, the Bane of Kings is first found when the Hero removes the Darkness from the Docks. After the Hero rescues Pirate Beard and his crew, Mayor promises them the ship in exchange for safety from them.
At the end of the game, Pirate Beard readies the ship for sailing with Jowee as a member of the crew, but Jowee decides to stay in Rapoville with Mari instead.
The Lavasteam Chronicles Part One/Part Two
In The Lavasteam Chronicles Part One, the Bane of Kings is stolen and captained by Galileo as he escapes Wilfre and the draining Color. Eventually, he picks up Eeny and Meeny outside Lavasteam, and the three of them go to Watersong. After Galileo has a PTSD episode, he leaves Watersong, but Eeny and Meeny remain in Watersong. Galileo sets sail for Ex-Isle, where he finds Wilfre terrorizing the island. He joins the fight against him and the Ameba, but he is sent away in a portal, leaving the ship behind.
Drawn to Life: Two Realms
In Drawn to Life: Two Realms, the Bane of Kings is docked in Rapoville, but Pirate Beard, Unagi, and Indee are too lazy to go on an adventure, so the Hero must have an imagination battle with all three of them to convince them to set sail. At the end of the game, the three of them leave port and set sail for an unknown destination.
Shadow Lives On/Stampy's Quest
In Shadow Lives On and Stampy's Quest, the Bane of Kings is used by Pirate Beard, Mari, Jowee, Wilfre, Crazy Barks, Unagi, Indee, Pouches, Kyren, an Ameba, and Stampy to travel to and from Wilfre's Wasteland.
Trivia
- The name Bane of Kings is a reference to the Angler King.
- An early name for the ship, Bane of Bakis, would have been a reference to Bakis, and more specifically Baki Beard.
