–Mutt

Mutt Diggory is a Raposa adapted by GuyThatExists that appears in the short story The Lavasteam Chronicles Part Three as a main character. He also appears in the original Drawn to Life. He is a part of Project Overhaul, filling the role of Indee's son.

Mutt was originally an unknown character in The Void, but was kidnapped by GenericChallenge and forced into canon. In canon, this character became Mutt fully and completely, where he would survive Wilfre's first attack and move into Rapoville. A few years later, he would convince his friends to join him on an expedition to Ex-Isle, leading them to cross paths with Allight and eventually assist in the fight against her.

Early Life

Mutt was originally created for Drawn to Life but was scrapped, living in the Developer's Grove until The Void was created. When The Void was restarted for the development of Drawn to Life: Two Realms, he was kidnapped by GenericChallenge and forced into canon.

Canon Early Life

Mutt lived away from Rapoville while young, being the son of Indee, though his family was eventually captured by Wilfre and imprisoned in Surf Beach. They were later rescued by the Hero and returned to the village, moving in permanently.

The Lavasteam Chronicles Part Three

A few years later, Mutt is playing in the woods with his friends Kyren, Silas, Banny, and Ocean, all trying to catch a small rat in the woods. After Ocean accidentally scares Kyren, Mutt and Silas tease her, but after Silas pushes her too far, the two of them leave, continuing to play throughout day.

The next day, Mutt hears about an ancient island with some crazy crystals from his grandfather, and he leaves to tell Silas about it, finding him in the woods. After watching him get scared by Kyren and Stumps, Mutt scares him and gives him the news, hoping to get him to captain a ship to the island. Silas agrees to a sixty/forty cut of the treasure, and shocks Mutt while shaking his hand as payback for scaring him.

The two of them head to the Docks to ask Pirate Beard for his ship, the Bane of Kings. However, Pirate Beard laughs in their face and walks away, prompting Kyren and Stumps to come up to Mutt and Silas to figure out what they were doing. After Silas runs home, Mutt and Kyren begin to bargain, with Kyren claiming that she could get them on board the ship. Mutt listens to her demands, asking for her, Banny, and Stumps to join them, and for a cut of the treasure, which he agrees to. Kyren then tells him to meet her at the Beach Gate the next time Pirate Beard sets sail.

Shortly after, Pirate Beard prepares to sail thanks to news of Allight's attacks, so Mutt, Kyren, Banny, and Stumps gather at the Beach Gate. As the Bane of Kings begins to leave, Kyren tells everyone to pile inside Stumps, so they do, with Silas joining them just before they leave. Now inside Stumps, who attached to the Bane of Kings, the children wait for the ship to dock somewhere, but inadvertently manage to overhear Allight enthralling the crews of not only the Bane of Kings, but also the Baki Beard's Revenge. Making their escape, Stumps disconnects from the ship, managing to scoop up Eeny and the Hero before swimming to a deserted island, where all the Raposa begin to break down.

Mutt watches as Silas angrily releases a burst of electricity on the opposite side of the island and yell at the Hero, so Mutt goes to console him. Eventually, they see Turtle Rock approaching with Mari and Jowee on board, and everyone is invited onto the ship. Now with a ship, the group sets sail for Ex-Isle, and when they dock, Mutt immediatley recognizes it as the island his grandfather told him about, and he runs in to find the treasure.

After running into the depths of the island and discovering the Mannequite, Mutt takes a massive chunk and runs back upstairs to find Silas and Kyren, though they are quickly ambushed by hostile exiles and guards, so the adults shuffle them back to Turtle Rock and tell them to hide in the bedroom. After surviving an attack from Allight and retreating to Ex-Isle, Mutt and Kyren use their Mannequite shards to help undo Allight's influence on some of the exiles and guards, including Meeny.

After some planning, Meeny uses the Ruby Earring to teleport the group to Lavasteam for a final fight against Allight. Before Allight begins attacking, the kids plan on how they can be useful during the fight, with Mutt and Kyren using their shards to undo Allight's enthrallment on her troops. As they run out of shards and thralls, Mutt joins Banny in toppling as many thralls as they could by jumping on them. After the fight, Mutt reunites with the rest of the kids, and the Rapoville residents return on Turtle Rock.

I'm free! You're awesome! I might be young, but I can still adventure with the best of 'em!

One day I'll find some amazing treasure...

–Mutt

Maybe there is some hidden treasure at the beach...

–Mutt

Dr. Jones? Who's that?

–Mutt

C’mon Silas! That was low hanging fruit. You gotta go for the harder hitting insults!

–Mutt

Whatcha lookin’ at?

–Mutt

I can, and I will. Besides, it’s funny to watch you light up!

–Mutt

Hey, listen. I heard something cool from my granddad. Something about an ancient island with some crazy crystals. You want in?

–Mutt

C’mon! I need a ship if I’m gonna get there, and you’re the best captain I know!

–Mutt

Because I don’t wanna share this treasure with just anyone!

–Mutt

I’m happy to share with you cause we’re good buddies.

–Mutt

I promise, nothing apocalyptic is happening right now. You can go a week without your ship!

–Mutt

I’m listening.

–Mutt

Why not you and Ocean. You two have been inseparable since Wilfre.

–Mutt

That’s fair. Alright, I can agree to that term. What’s next.

–Mutt

Who says there’s treasure at the end of this trip?

–Mutt

You got me there too, Kyren. Your buddy and I are going sixty forty.

–Mutt

Deal. And the third thing?

–Mutt

Sorry. There’s no way Silas is going if this thing goes. No deal.

–Mutt

Alright fine. You got a deal.

–Mutt

Sounds like a plan.

–Mutt

I don’t know if you noticed Kyren, but the ships are leaving without us!

–Mutt

I’ll go talk to him.

–Mutt

Hey bud; you doin’ alright?

–Mutt

Oh, it’s better than that you two! This is the island my granddad was talking about! Let’s go get some crystals!

–Mutt

I can prove it does! I just struck magic, do you two want your cuts or what?

–Mutt

I can’t believe we’re actually about to do this!

–Mutt

Of course I am! This is a better adventure than I ever could’ve asked for!
