The Engineer's Lab is a location in Heather Dating Sim that exclusively appears in Chapter 5. Previously the Village Observatory, it was taken over by The Engineer after he mechanized the village.
Appearance
The Engineer's Lab is identical to the Observatory, although it has been upgraded to be much more mechanical. The dome area has been converted to Heather 2.0's dormitory, and the rest of the building is either hallways or Mike's workspace.
Story
Before Heather Dating Sim
After not being sent home by the Creator, Mike slowly regained his Belleview memories and started working with the Galactic Jungle to mechanize the entire village. Eventually, he took over the Village Observatory and made it his laboratory. After an unknown event caused him to not only mechanize the Raposa, but to shut down most of them, he became a recluse in his lab and locked himself and Heather 2.0 inside.
Heather Dating Sim
Canon Path
After you arrive in Roboville and run away from Pleather and Alme's argument, you come across the lab and answer some security questions to gain entry. You enter Heather 2.0's chamber and ask her about the multiverse, explaining your encounters with the Master of the Abyss, so she takes you over to The Engineer's workshop. After reading your memories, all three of you run out of the lab to prepare to fight the Master.
Non-Canon Paths
- If you answer any of the security questions wrong, the lab will attempt to perform a diagnostics scan on you and kill you.
- If you break into the lab with Alme and go into Heather 2.0's chamber, a shootout occurs.
- On multiple, non-canon paths, you will be killed by The Engineer during an interrogation.
