Lydia is a Raposa created by GuyThatExists that appears in the short story The Lavasteam Chronicles Part Three as a supporting character. She also appears in The 35 as a character in 4 out of 105 segments.
After marrying Miney and becoming Queen of Lavasteam after Wilfre's second attack, she would help Miney work through his guilt, and she helped Moe lessen his anxiety. However, when Allight invaded Lavasteam, she, along with the rest of the village, was enthralled. During the fight against Allight in Lavasteam, Mari would find Lydia, and the two would have a one-on-one fight during the battle.
Later in her life, she would gain a dependence on All-Lite and began stealing Mannequite from Key. She later blackmail's Lock into keeping quiet about her addiction. After becoming tied up in the All-Lite trade, she would be crippled by Aguara, who burned down Key's lab in the process. She later attends and survives a celebration that Ruby attacks.

Story[edit]
The Lavasteam Chronicles Part Three[edit]
Lydia is first seen near the anniversary of Wilfre's second attack, where Moe is worried that something had happened to the realm. Lydia lets Miney, her husband, calm him down, but after noticing that Moe was still frantic, she assured him that nothing was wrong, and that if something was wrong, Rapoville would have produced a Hero. Moe agrees and returns to his work, and Lydia plans to have the three of them sit down after a month.
Some time later, Miney and Lydia receive a letter from an enthralled Meeny and Rose, promising that nothing was wrong and apologizing for any distress. The brothers and Lydia are all deceived by the letter, and Lydia leaves the room to let Miney and Moe work on their relationship. The two decide to let Miney make a formal apology to the citizens of Lavasteam, something he had not done yet, and after the speech, Lydia congratulates him for taking that initiative. After hearing concerns and praises from the villagers, Miney, Moe, Lydia, and Key all talk about their next step for the village.
Suddenly, Allight walks into the room, having already enthralled the rest of Lavasteam, and she quickly enthralls the four Raposa. Key, Miney, and Moe quickly leave the office, leaving Lydia alone with Allight. Lydia thanks Allight for making her feel so happy, and she begins to draft up messages to every other village with the intent of bringing Allight's light to them as well. While she writes these messages, Mari suddenly bursts into the office. Mari is relieved to see her, but after noticing that Lydia had been enthralled, Mari tries to escape. Lydia sees this as a playful tussle, and the two begin to fight.
During their tussle, Lydia catches a glimpse of Allight out a window, and she is suddenly engulfed in pure light, amplifying her powers. Lydia becomes much stronger, and begins to fight Mari once more. However, Mari manages to escape in the corridors of the palace, and Lydia asks for more help from Allight. Mari escapes the palace and ends up hiding in a house, but Lydia spots her, so the two begin their chase once again. After Allight is defeated by Fext's sacrifice, Lydia returns to normal and is introduced to Puck and Rose.
The 35[edit]
2019[edit]
Years later, Lydia and Miney bring Miney's siblings together to celebrate surviving both the Shadows and Allight, and Lydia requests that she cook dinner for everyone. When she heads to the kitchen, she begins by prepping her environment, including taking a hit of All-Lite that she kept hidden in the kitchen. As she begins cooking, Key walks in on her, and she offers him some cooking. However, as Key asks to test the effects of food on Mannequite, she falls into a trance and shatters his shard, unknowingly releasing Celia. Confused, Key leaves Lydia to continue cooking.
2022[edit]
One night, when Lydia enters Key's workshop to steal some of his Mannequite, she finds Lock threatening Celia, now a Robosa, with a chunk of Mannequite, and she lunges for the crystal, crushing it and snorting the All-Lite. When Celia confronts her about her addiction, Lydia shuts her down with the dust, and just then, Key bursts into the room. Lydia covers for her and Lock, saying that Celia was attacking them, so Key shoos them out of his workshop.
In the kitchen, Lock watches as Lydia takes a hit of her stash of All-Lite, and he promises to expose her. However, Lydia recounts her time being enthralled to him, and she tells him that if her addiction came out, the entire royal family would be evicted, including his father. She then gently offers some All-Lite to Lock, but he smacks her hand away and leaves.
Some time over the next two years, Lydia began peddling Mannequite from Key's lab to Captain Cavalier to use in his trade.
2024[edit]
Two years later, Lydia had broken the terms of her deal with Cavalier, and Aguara had come to collect. Lydia and Lock barricade themselves into Key's lab, and they wake up Celia, asking her how many times they had wiped her memory. When Celia tells them that it had been nearly fifty times, Lydia and Lock panic. As they discuss what they should do next, Celia manages to open the door, letting Aguara break in. Lock is let off and Lydia gloats about sending three royal guards after him. In response, Aguara shoots her, paralyzing her.
2026[edit]
Now in a wheelchair, Lydia attends a celebration with the Lavasteam, Watersong, and Rapocity leaders, where she learns that Butler and the Watersong Royal Guard had captured both Captain Cavalier and Aguara. When Ruby breaks into the palace, a drunken Lydia recognizes them and calls them out, saying that no one would hire them to kill a royal, but Ruby says that they hired themself. When Meeny finds Ruby's bomb under the table, Miney shoves Lydia's chair out of the room, and she survives the explosion.
