Squid is a character in the short story Blank Slates 2, and a cut boss from Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter (Wii). He works with the Tree King during the events of the story to try and take over The Void. They attack the Wii Village and the Color Vat, although he is killed by the combined power of the Four Guardians.
Appearance
Squid is a large, green squid with red eyes and blue jagged teeth. He also has Mizu's Trident in his stomach until his death.
Story
Squid was recruited by the Tree King a shortly before Salem Rose's attack on The Void, along with Robot. The three of them are approached by Temte Mapleleaf who asked to join them, but she was turned down due to her lack of abilities, so the group continues on to the Drawn to Life Village.
After Salem Rose's attack, the Squid, along with the rest of the Tree King's group, now including Gingerfre and Red Dragon, begin their attack on the Baki Temple in an attempt to free the Jungle Creature. During their attack, they are confronted by Jinxy and Crawler's LARPing Group, but the Tree King's Group is able to free the Jungle Creature and seal their attackers in the Baki Temple.
After waking up Robot, who has been possessed by Paint, creating Sparky, Squid, the Tree King, the Jungle Creature, and Sparky all leave for the Color Vat to enact the next part of their plan. When they arrive, the Jungle Creature begins sending beams of Shadow and Ink throughout the void. Sparky, revealing its true nature, begins fighting the Jungle Creature when Mill, Lambert, Fiora, and Sandal appear at the Vat. Mill and Sandal join Sparky, while Fiora and Lambert wait inside.
Later, Violet, Hoopz, Fox, Rocko, and Nolan all arrive at the vat, with Violet and Hoopz joining the fight. The combined power of the Four Guardians and Sandal is enough to overpower Squid, exploding his body and releasing Mizu's Trident from his stomach.
