–Jungle Creature

The Jungle Creature is a Shadow being created by GuyThatExists that appears in the short story Blank Slates 2 as the primary antagonist. It also appears in a non-canon path in Heather Dating Sim Chapter 3.

After being freed by the Tree King, it worked with him to take over The Void. After its initial defeat, it split into four parts in an attempt to take over the void for itself. Three of these four parts were destroyed, and the fourth is currently hiding in the Drawn to Life Village.

Appearance

The Jungle Creature is a massive, humanoid sludge that is primarily composed of Shadow. It wears a diamond mask with three red feathers, and it has a grass skirt.

Story

Blank Slates 2

The Jungle Creature is first seen after the Tree King tears down the door to the Baki Temple, and the Jungle Creature leaves to help trap Jinxy and Crawler's LARPing Group inside. The Jungle Creature then leaves with the Tree King, Squid, and Robot, who had already turned into Sparky, for the Color Vat.

When the group arrives at the Color Vat, the Jungle Creature jumps onto its rim, shooing beams of Shadow into the vat, sending beams of Shadow and Color throughout The Void, much like Shadow Mari had two years prior. However, Sparky jumped up on the rim as well, attacking the Jungle Creature. The Jungle Creature refuses to retaliate, so the Tree King and Squid attack Sparky. The rest of the Four Guardians, as well as many of their friends, arrive at the Color Vat, so the Jungle Creature joins the fight.

After the defeat of Squid, Lambert gains the powers of Mizu's Trident, joining the fight. Lambert kills the Tree King and attacks the Jungle Creature, throwing the trident into the holes in the mask, splitting it down the middle with its third prong. The Jungle Creature rips the trident out of its face, throwing it into the Color Vat, but the Four Guardians are able to defeat the Jungle Creature, splitting it into four different pieces. Each of these pieces then slither off to go to infect different characters.

Shadow Squid

The first piece of the Jungle Creature left for the Two Realms Plains, where it started to absorb the Shadow and Ink creatures that it had created moments prior. This new creature took the shape of Squid, attacking the plains and reopening the Shadow Hole. It was eventually defeated by Lambert and Violet.

Monster Sandal

Main articles: Sandal

The second piece of the Jungle Creature stayed in The Next Chapter Village, where it latched onto Sandal, turning it into a monstrous form. This new creature destroyed the house the friends of the Guardians were hiding in, absorbing the debris and Rocko. It was eventually defeated by Lambert, who pushed Sandal into the Color Vat.

Shadow Tree King

Main articles: Tree King

The third piece of the Jungle Creature left for the Wii Village, where it latched onto the Tree King as part of a contingency plan. The Tree King was left with autonomy, and it continued to fight against Crawler's LARPing Group and eventually, the group that fought the Shadow Squid. However, the Tree King was killed by a combination of Lambert, Mill, and Willham, and the piece of the Jungle Creature was erased by Willham.

Fourth Piece

The fourth and final piece of the Jungle Creature left for the Drawn to Life Village, burrowing into the graves containing Tomohawk and the other deceased Droogles.

Heather Dating Sim

Non-Canon Paths

• If you have sex with Heathers and refuse to comfort her, then find Alme and Temte and decide to live in the Drawn to Life Village, the Jungle Creature will ambush you while you look at the tombstones, absorbing you and killing you.

• The Tree King's group could possibly be a reference to Count Bleck's group from Super Paper Mario, with the Jungle Creature taking the role of Dimentio.
  • They both start as servants of their leader, but eventually outgrow their leader and become the final obstacle for the heroes.
