–Ore
Tank, formerly known as Ore and Hoopz, is a Screener, Human, and formerly Raposa created and adapted by GuyThatExists that appears in the short stories Blank Slates and Blank Slates 2 as a major character, in Blank Slates 3 as a supporting character, and in Salem Rose Pt. 1 as a minor character.
Originally a piece of Monk, Tank was created to help with the development of games. Eventually, he transferred into a Raposa body, becoming Ore and joining the Four Guardians. As Ore, he fought against both Shadow Mari and Drakon. Later, he was killed by Salem Rose during his attack on The Void, and was revived as Hoopz by possessing the body of Barks. He would then go on to fight against the Tree King and the Jungle Creature. He would also join the fight against Tombstone, though after being forced out of Barks' body by Ninja, he would become Tank once more. As Tank, he continued to fight against Tombstone, but was eventually sent into canon by Temte Mapleleaf.
Appearance[edit]
Tank is a ginger human that wears a green bandana on his head. He also wears a solid green military uniform with a white undershirt.
Ore has orange fur and a thick, brown mustache. He carries a pickaxe and wears a yellow safety helmet, a red jacket, white undershirt, and blue shorts.
Hoopz has orange fur and a collar with a bell, much like Jowee. He has two, silver rings around his ears with green earrings on each of them. He also wears a green shirt and brown pants.
Story[edit]
Before Blank Slates[edit]
Tank was originally one of four pieces of Monk, a screener who split themself up to make development easier on them. As the development of Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter and Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter (Wii) neared completion, Tank, along with the other pieces of Monk, opted to hide their human bodies in Warrior's Castle, taking the bodies of four Raposa instead. Tank became Ore after inhabiting El Chippo's body, and when The Void was shut down, Ore feel into a deep sleep. Eventually, The Void was restarted for Drawn to Life: Two Realms development, and Ore awoke with the other screeners. Now calling the four piece of Monk the Four Guardians, they began helping Willham, Mayo, and Joseph Tringali with development decisions.
Blank Slates[edit]
During the development cycle for Drawn to Life: Two Realms, Joseph Tringali called the Guardians to the Discussion Grounds to pick a character to revive for the upcoming game. Ore was silent during the entire process, but he did give the final vote for Mildew. This allowed the group to decide to send him Mildew to the game, angering Shadow Mari. She attacks the group and threatens to bring life to The Void if they didn't bring Mildew back down. Because the decision was irreversible, Shadow Mari ends up attacking The Void, killing Willham and covering Ore in Shadow in the process.
After Shadow Mari's attack subsides, the other three Guardians take Ore to the color vat in Lavasteam and revert him to his Raposa form. They return to the Discussion Grounds and find Joe, Franco, and Mildew. After looking around at the landscape, the devs ask about the Shadow Hole and ask how it came to be. After learning about Shadow Mari, Joe asks why she was in The Void without the dev's knowing. Flash comments that only one other person they know could create life - Mayo.
Shortly after, Drakon and Dinofrog attack the Discussion Grounds. Drakon kidnaps Joe, Franco, and Mildew, leaving the Guardians to fight Dinofrog. During their fight, the Discussion Grounds are destroyed, and the Guardians are in a stalemate with Dinofrog. As Ore fights the beast, Hose gets Alana to go summon the Droogle Killer, and Flash gets Willham to delete Dinofrog. After this, Willham, Rocko, and Crawler continue on their journey to the Shadow Hole, and Mayo asks the Guardians if they want a ride. Ore tries to ignore her, suspicious of her involvement with Shadow Mari, but reluctantly agrees to a ride to the Shadow Hole.
When they arrive, Shadow Mari summons an army of Shadow and Ink creatures from the hole, forcing Ore to fight the horde of enemies, alongside the other three Guardians, Rocko, Crawler, Fiora, Nolan. After Drakon and the Droogle Killer jump into the Hole, Shadow Mari calls off her army, and Mayo urges Shadow Mari to kill Willham, which she does. This causes Paint, along with the rest of The Void, to chastise Mayo's alliances and morality. Eventually, Mayo breaks down and begins to yell at the Guardians for seemingly hating her. After her outburst, she collapses to the ground and begins to cry. As Mayo cries on the ground, Ore, along with Paint, guard Mayo and keep other beings away from her. Eventually, Flash and Hose join them, and Flash tells Mayo to get up since Willham and Shadow Mari had left using the Shadow Hole.
Just then, Joe makes two announcements into The Void. He grants Hose's request to keep The Void full of life, and then says that he has to delete Mayo from The Void due to her actions. Mayo begins to disappear, begging for help. After Mayo is deleted, Ore joins the rest of the beings of The Void as they wish Alana, now known as Aly, luck in the next game. He is also the first to laugh when Fiora names Sandal, her new pet.
Salem Rose Pt. 1[edit]
Ore is first seen when Salem Rose, a corrupted version of Miles, comes to The Void. When Salem Rose jumps into the Color Vat and absorbs its power, Ore, along with the other Guardians, surround the vat, preparing to fight Salem Rose. Suddenly, the color erupts from the vat, knocking the Guardians down and covering them. He, along with the rest of the Guardians, were killed in this attack.
Blank Slates 2[edit]
After being killed, a cloud of blue smoke was released from Ore's body, and it shot off towards the Drawn to Life Village, possessing the body of Barks and waking up. He finds himself surrounded by Red, Green, Blue, and Yellow, who had jumped Barks only moments prior. Hoopz uses his energy to release a wave of green energy from the hoops on his ears, knocking the four bullies unconscious. He is then found by Fox, who still believes he is Barks. Hoopz explains the mix-up after spotting Gingerfre and Red Dragon flying towards the Drawn to Life Village, chasing after them.
When they find the two bosses, Hoopz knocks the two of them unconscious shortly after Gingerfre finds a Shadow Stone, and Fox kicks the stone away. After the bosses wake up, Hoopz and Fox interrogate them, but Gingerfre outsmarts them, escaping towards the Two Realms Plains with Red Dragon and his Shadow Stone. Hoopz decides to summon the Droogle Killer to chase after them, so he and Fox go to revive it.
After summoning the Droogle Killer and giving it a task, Hoopz and Fox run into Nolan and Rocko, who had been sent to find them by Mill. Hoopz joins them and the four of them give chase to the Droogle Killer. After watching it get defeated by the bosses, they decide to go to the Guardians' HQ, where they meet Violet. The five of them realize that the other Guardians were at the Color Vat fighting the Tree King, so they go to The Next Chapter Village to join the fight.
When they arrive, Hoopz and Violet, along with Mill, Sparky, Sandal, and eventually Lambert, work together to take down the Tree King, Squid, and the Jungle Creature. However, Mill thinks that the two bosses haven't been defeated, so they go back to the Two Realms Plains to find a piece of the Jungle Creature. Once there, a fragment of the Jungle Creature absorbs some of the Shadow and Ink creatures it created, forming the Shadow Squid and reopening the Shadow Hole.
During the battle, Hoopz attacks the Shadow Squid with his energy, but it is unable to do much damage. The same is true for when the Guardians leave to fight the new Tree King in the Wii Village. However, Hoopz keeps attacking the Tree King until he's eventually defeated by Willham, Lambert, and Mill. Hoopz then works with the rest of the Guardians, the screeners, and various other characters to help clear the battlefield of injured and deceased characters. One week later, Hoopz goes to check up on the Wii Village after the fight.
Blank Slates 3[edit]
Hoopz is next seen a few years later while attending a meeting to discuss the Droogle Leader, Shadow Village, and the whereabouts of GenericChallenge. He points out that GenericChallenge could have become anyone or anything while on the run from his check ins, and that finding him would be incredibly difficult. However, their meeting is cut short when Violet calls and notifies them that the Jungle Creature's final piece had emerged as Tombstone and was attacking The Void. Tank returns to The Void right as Tombstone is defeated, and he watches as Gingerfre and his Shadow army accidentally revive Tombstone and allow it to bubble the Drawn to Life Village.
Having evacuated to the Two Realms Plains, Tank helps urge The Void residents to ascend into the Developer's Grove. He would quickly join the fight against Tombstone in the Shadow Village once it began attacking there, using his energy abilities to attack and distract Tombstone. After Tombstone was defeated a second time, Hoopz travels to the edge of the village to help clean up debris and evacuate bodies, though when the Five Aldarks begin reviving Tombstone, Depression, one of Gingerfre's friends, captures Hoopz, Violet, Gingerfre, and Jinxy, attempting to assimilate them into Tombstone with it. The four of them are able to use their abilities to burst the bubble and kill Depression, but their burst sends a massive energy pulse throughout The Void, killing all communications and electricity, while also knocking Mill and Sparky out of their bodies.
After watching Tombstone bubble around a second village, Hoopz and the fighters return to the Guardians' HQ, where they learn about their life as Monk and piece together their timelines. Their meeting is soon interrupted by Alme Palmette and Heathers, asking if they had any communications, and Pot and Sorcerer, notifying the group that the two bubbled villages were still intact under the bubbles. At this point, Willham shoos everyone outside and invites Hoopz, Violet, and Shadow Mari up to the roof with him.
Now addressing the remainder of The Void's fighters, Willham splits them into three teams, one to check the Drawn to Life Bubble, one to check the Shadow Bubble, and the last to join the LARPing Group on their trip to the Wii Village. Hoopz and Violet both opt to join Gingerfre in traveling to the Shadow Bubble. When the three of them arrive at the edge of the bubble, they hesitantly step inside. However, they quickly find the bodies of Lambert and Red Dragon, both of whom were now part of Tombstone. After a brief bit of mourning, Depression reappears, now being controlled by Tombstone, and mocks the group. However, before he can fight Tombstone, both he and Violet fall to the ground as their smoke separated from their bodies and was forced into their Human bodies in Warrior's Castle, thanks to Ninja opening their bodies' caskets.
Now in the Drawn to Life Village and living as Tank once again, they are ambushed by Goldie and her undead Droogle army. The combined forces of Tank, Skate, Ninja, Alme, Heathers, and Jinxy are able to nearly defeat the army, but they are soon joined by Temte Mapleleaf and Q-Heather, who both help force the army to retreat. After fighting, the group decides to return to the HQ, storing Warrior's body in Tank's tank, and they fill Temte in on the details she missed while not in The Void.
Back at the HQ once again, the group meets back up with Gingerfre, who explains that Tombstone liquefied and absorbed the Shadow Village. As they fill Gingerfre in on the events in Warrior's Castle, the group notices the Tree King approaching the HQ, so they prepare to fight him, striking first. They are able to easily defeat the Tree King, though his body crushes a wall of the HQ during the battle. After this battle, Tank places Warrior's body inside the building, and Cecil's Militia explains that the Tree King meant no harm and was joining the fight against Tombstone. The rest of the Wii Village travelers arrive back at the HQ, and the groups exchange all the events that happened and information they learned.
When the screeners return, Tank, Ninja, and Skate all learn to harness their powers from Monk, and Tank begins creating a smoky Droogle army to help him fight. He then watches as The Void's last army shrinks more, scared of the final fight against Tombstone, and he sees Tombstone, an undead Drakon, and an undead Red Dragon emerge to fight them all. While Ninja and Skate go to fight the undead dragons, Tank stays fighting Tombstone's main body, using his new army to his advantage. When Drakon and Red Dragon are defeated, he continues fighting Tombstone, though eventually, Tombstone overpowers the group, and the screeners, Tank, Skate, and Ninja all hide in the HQ while Temte sends the other fighters into canon.
As Temte unleashes the Master of the Abyss on Tombstone, Tank notices Tombstone attempt to absorb pieces of the Wii and The Next Chapter Villages. Determined to fight Tombstone, Tank, Skate, and Ninja agree to forfeit their Human bodies to recreate Monk to fight Tombstone, though without Warrior's piece of Monk, which had been absorbed by Tombstone, they were not able to recreate the screener and were also evacuated into canon by the Master. His current whereabouts are unknown.

Trivia[edit]
- Although not explicitly stated in Blank Slates, Ore is able to control both rocks and minerals and use them to attack opponents.
- In an early draft of Blank Slates 3's epilogues, Tank would have been seen in Tony's House after being sent to canon, and he would've been the one to enter Franco Key's Record Store and meet Nolan Row.
- Tank is the only one of the Four Guardians to not change gender identities during his different incarnations.
- He is also the only one of the Guardians to retain his fur/hair color between incarnations, Lambert excluded.
