The Next Chapter Village is a village in the short story Blank Slates. It was created by Shadow Mari after her attack on The Void. It houses all the Unused & Removed Features from Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter, and was deleted by Willham during the story.
Story
The Next Chapter Village is first seen split up immediately after Shadow Mari's attack. Rocko and Fox rise up from The Void on Lavasteam's third page and they point the Four Guardians towards the color vat so that they can remove the Shadow from Ore. Rocko and Fox then leave to go to the Wii Village, but while theyre gone, all the cut locations from Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter merge into one location, formally creating The Next Chapter Village.
The village is next seen when Alana, Nolan, Fiora, and Lambert are all sitting at a table discussing the fact that they can basically do whatever they want now. Alana gets mad that she isn't relevant, and after nagging from Nolan, Lambert, and eventually Mayo, she gets into a car and drives off. Fiora then leads Nolan, Lambert, and Mayo to the edge of the village where Hans's seam shop is. Fiora goes inside with Hans while everyone waits outside.
Shortly after this, Rocko and Fox return to the village with their friend Jinxy and Willham. Willham gets fed up with the trio and leaves their group, while Rocko, Fox, and Jinxy see Alana driving past them. They stop her can and ask her if she knows where Fiora and Lambert are, so she points them towards the other side of the village. Mayo joins the four and asks what they're doing, but before they can answer, a page of the village begins to turn, causing all the beings to panic. Alana fears for Nolan's safety, so she, along with Rocko, Fox, Jinxy, and Mayo, go to the other side of the village and meets up with him at Hans's seam shop. She tells him, along with Fiora, Lambert, and Hans, to jump off the page. Immediately after this however, the group notices Crawler and his army approach the group. In a panic, Fiora tosses Alana a dress that Hans had made her, along with a new phrase she could use to ascend to the Dev Grove. Before a fight can break out between the two parties however, Willham sweeps over the group, erasing the village along with Fox, Lambert, Hans, and Crawler's army.
Eventually, Shadow Mari sends a second wave of Shadow and Color beams throughout the void, presumably restoring the village and its inhabitants.
